I have researched Knight Transportation, a very solid company and i am very interested in coming aboard as a new CDL A driver. I have spoke with a Phoenix recruiter, but she will not return my calls... very unfortunate.

I know 3 in California. Tulare, Fontana, and a drop yard in Modesto. 3 in Texas. El Paso, Katy, and Dallas, my home terminal. Kansas city. Aurora Colorado. Phoenix, Arizona. Reno and Las Vegas. There's a kold trans yard in salt lake. Lakeland, Florida. Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There's a few more, but I don't remember them all on the top of my head

What I'd like to hear about is this: Knight merged with Swift. So are Knight and Swift still operating as separate companies or as a single company and what effect, if any, does that have on how drivers do their jobs and how they get paid? And if everything is exactly the same as it was before the merger then what was the point of the merger?

Hi Crypto, we enjoy seeing all of the questions! Knight Swift has the same executive leadership team so while some departments still operate separately we all have the same vision and goals in mind. Keep in mind, we do have departments that have merged and work together every day, but the others work very close to share best practices, etc. It's been a beautiful partnership and we've seen improvements with both brands since the merger: safety scores, fuel savings, negotiation of contracts and leveraging each other's resources are just a few of the area of improvement that we've seen. We will talk about creating a new video with more info, but we hope this satisfies your questions for now :)
