Thank you. I always appreciate these pictures. A few things stand out for me: flatbeds and sheeting were in use in the UK much longer than on the Continent. And UK lorries up till the late 70's, early 80's had a styling much different from the trucks on the Continent. It looks like the styling changed after makes like Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Daf (I'm from The Netherlands...) got more established on the UK market. A pity really as I like the old style Foden, ERF's., Seddon-Atkinson's, Guy's...

My old boss and colleague .: the late Johnny Nicolson was selling Leyland at The Milburn. One day he called at Gretna Transport to see Bobby Bauld. Mary Bauld said......" Bobby,s terribly sick ,Johnny! Hi,good morning, interesting to see two Dennison Trucks, read an article on them few years back thought they looked different somewhere between a early DAF and VOLVO, if I am correct they had mostly Rolls Royce power units, seemingly they only made a couple of hundred and went back to Trailer Building, would be interesting in this market to see what new Truck they would bring to the table in 2023 as all the trucks now all have the same kind of look,again great content and where did you pull the photos of the Dennison from?? Superb take care as a look as always regards 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧👍

The Dennison is the same one in both pictures, and it's owned by McGovern of London, has nothing to do with Scotland.

A White Road Boss 2 towing a trailer in its "natural" environment on this side of the Atlantic almost threw someone whose only interaction with them in the 90's was watching them racing sideways around Brands Hatch mostly with screaming Detroit Diesels making sweet 🎶 🎵

It's a White, American trucks were popular in Britain for a brief period during the 1970s and early 80s, Macks, Kenworths, Whites and to a lesser extent Internationals and Fords could be seen fairly regular.
