Just found your channel 2 days ago, retired driver here,who's also a disabled retired veteran. Drove for many a yrs, company,and owner/operator, nearly 60 now,and fully retired, drawing the ole soc sec checks, got a 22 year old who's always heard my ole tired trucker days stories, and is mulling over seriously taking up driving. He grew up round all my tractors. We both love to travel,but we'll see lol. Anyways, I love your dedication,and SAFE practice driving. Your rigs a beast,and she's a looker my man. Always loved a good gloss finish on a stretch Pete....nuthin prettier! I admire how you take pride in ur rig. It's hard,but so worth it. I enjoy ur videos, the way u set em up,it's like I'm right there in the cab with ya. For an ole driver who STILL misses the open road. It's a cool way to still experience the life! Stay safe young man, and ENJOY the life! It is truly the last frontier! Just a driver,his truck and the road! God bless , Deland Florida. Subscribed for sure. Great content,keep up the good work. C'ooooome on!! 😎🌄🚚

@rustypugh1234 жыл бұрын
I quit driving years ago because I had had enough of the long hours, what it was doing to my body, and the loneliness. I quit driving in the mid-80s: before GPS, before Google maps, before the crackdown on regulating driver's hours on the road. This was still in the era where we loaded up, kept 2 log books, and didn't stop until we got where we were going. I got tired of fighting lumber tarps with an 8-ft drop in 30 mph winds and freezing temperatures. like I said, I never thought I would miss it, until I started watching your videos, and suddenly the fun part of it came back to me. And I remember that it could be a lot of fun at times. The freedom of the open road, and the lifestyle of freedom in general. I do miss that. I also miss keeping my ride all washed up and shined up as much as possible. I like the way you do that. You got a damn good looking peterbilt. Great videos. Keep on trucking.
