What, someone actually showed a standard hood, rather than a extended hood. And they look just as good as a extended hood. Low and behold, I have a ‘84 limited edition ‘Silver Class’ with a standard hood and sleeper extensions. One of only 80 built. Still rides as good as a extended hood. Good video sir. Hope to see you at Busted Knuckle in September. I’ll have the truck there. As I’m a part of the ATHS - Lone Star chapter.
That red truck in the photo is that a White 9000? That's my dream to get one of those ol gals here down under. I want it with the 6V71 straight 6 2 stroke detroit diesel. So cool to see family generation trucking business just awesome! thanks for sharing. That Peterbilt is mint....wow!!

a very class leading look at some gear, enjoy the history and old photo's, thank you As a side note, in Australia we can have double deck cattle trailers up to 15'1' or 4.6 meters and normal height trailers in Australia are around 14'9" or 4.5 meters Our trailers are generally shorter in Australia at around 45 - 50 feet, mine are 40'6" for a flat top and 40' for a cattle trailer Those are very impressive trucks, spotlessly clean and well maintained

The old 72 Pete the sound of the 855 Cummins you don't hear that anymore, the old truck would have had a BC1 back in the day. The holset whistle. That is old school right there, you'd never see a new school driver be able to drive that truck they'd never be able to figure out a mechanical engine, jake stall the engine it would scare the schit out of them LOL.
