Almost all box trailers have no frame that runs front to back. They are also not designed for heavy point loads. I wish some of the people that keep suggesting this would go out and try it for themselves. If you have ever seen a trailer that had the top ripped off while loaded they almost always buckle in the middle till the landing gear hits the road

Go to the New York State auction surplus equipment. We got them there just like that one and extended cab, just like that one buy a nice tractor trailer believe it with a fifth wheel sometimes we have throughways trucks there to Syracuse New York State EM shop and there’s a nice grade all for you too I do not know when they have the actions

They’re perfectly fine to take the top off and use the flatbed because the bottom still has a frame, but I would only use it on on the farm farm, but you don’t understand what people are trying to tell you you use it for bales out of the field we do it here all the time we don’t put it on the road well couple miles hauling bales but yes, you can take the sides of a roof off the box and use it for farm go hauling big shit but you gotta remember there’s a frame is at the bottom. It’s not the sides in the roof.

With all respect, your greatly mistaken when it comes to the modern box trailers. there isn't any sub frame. Now when you get to those covered flat beds, they have a sub frame. The only frame under those 53 ft boxes are the cross sills that connect to the side rails. It's some what of a miracle that more of them don't belly out on the road. I've pulled them for decades, some of them are scary! When loading you always put the heavy stuf over the axles and unless you need the whole floor space, you don't put any real heavy loading in the center. Most of those trailers are used for palleted loads or stacked boxes that spread out the load. If the lower sides are bulged out then the trailer will be taken out of service as it's now weaker and over width, DOT cops will stop you!

I will agree and that’s what I tried to say in my message, but his is older, it might. I didn’t say all have frames. People don’t understand what I’m trying to say but thank you.
