Great video. Now looking back to the first time you meet Office Hoover you both could of went at each other but you both was respectful of each other and he walked you through your problems and taught you things as along they way. IT turn out to be a great friendship and a very good teaching for others. I know he has done a few vidoes with you about DOT rules and C&C equipment is going to be doing one as well. IT is great to see this stuff. Like Officer Hoover said we don't want to give you the ticket we want you to know the right things to do and teach you.

That's unusual for a DOT officer to get in there and use a shovel cleaning tracks. Where I'm from that doesn't happen. And to tell you all the info on your tie down points and weight limits. It's good to have a friend like officer Hoover.

Right rear chain on the 550 looks loose. Flexes some while in movement. Officer Hoover tightened that one so it must be legal. lol

Until I began watching Letsdig18 and Dirt Perfect several years ago, it never even occured to me there was a cost involved in moving heavy equipment for a job. It should have but just never did. I was just laser focused on the actual work I saw being done.

After watching all of the videos with Officer Hoover and his own channel over the years, if one gets a ticket from him you "earned it". Officer Hoover is one of the last few good guys. What folks have to also respect is Officer Hoover is technically hanging is job out there in public, it takes confidence to do so.

Makes me happy to see the equipment being cleaned off before being transported. You see too much equipment being carried down the highway dropping debris off along the way often times into other people’s vehicle. Which is why I was always diligent in making sure the equipment and trailer deck were cleaned off for safe transport. May have taken a little longer but the peace of mind for me was worth it knowing I didn’t cause damage to anyone’s vehicle for failing to rid the trailer and equipment of rocks, gravel and whatever else may have been present at the time.

Hi Mike, I had a smile on my face watching this entire video! You all seem to have a lot of fun with your projects! It's also great that officer Hoover was able to ride along and re-explain trailering, securement, and CDL requirement. He gets a big thumbs up! My biggest complaint is that DOT rules should not be determined by an individual state, but that they should be determined on a federal level, to be the same for all states.
