My former Father-in-Law taught me to grease farm and construction equipment when you were done for the day. That way, the machine is still warm and will accept grease much easier. Also, the next day, particularly if it's cold, that's one less uncomfortable thing you have to do as a pre-check before starting the equipment. Made sense to me... be well, be safe!

Sixty five years ago I was crawling around October nights at midmite under moonlight and flashlite greasing a corn picker. And didn't dare miss one.. haha.. Run until dew or frost come on.. it was cob and all. I think grinding cob and all was better feed than now. Mills had a cob house. And we hauled cobs to fill. Mud holes and for bedding, and then to fields to plow under. The ground actually still had earthworms In it... Not today. Things change....

Reminded me of my Central California days of running backhoe and dump truck doing the same sort of work. Never thought I'd miss those days . Thanks again for the memory lane. I liked the way MBTS wandered in..... practically like a star 🤣🤣🤣 After you got all the lubrication and refuelling done, Thunder Creek is working out a treat for you !!! 😁 For a single length of $574 is madness....... got to be at least double what it was...... 😵 Aaron was chuffed to see his little step still there, he probably thought it would be long gone !! You had Bubba filled to the top with the brush, have no idea why only one piece fell off, must have been the driver..... 🤔
