The folks at Vegas location were awesome! Totally went in there thinking we were going to be doing some sort of soft-roading and was proven very wrong.

Totally agree. I have done off roadeo in Texas and Tennessee and enjoyed them both. Gives you an appreciation of the capabilities of the Bronco, while being assisted by excellent trail guides. Nice video.

I do wish you would've mentioned the stuff they give you. The classroom and questions, food, music. All good though man. I hooe you had fun. If you ever find yourself in Wyoming and want to wheel, Hit me up. Merry early Christmas to you and your family 🤙

I hear there’s a lot of room out there😳………..I’ve been into cars and bikes my whole life but never been into to off-roading and I’m 51, over the last 4 or 5 years seems I watch more and more off-roading vids and the only reason I haven’t went in to the off-roading space myself is because I have so many other things I’m into. As soon as I drop one this is my next hobby…….until then it’s youtube off road vids to satisfy that urge! 😂😂🤷🏽♂️

I went to the same location for my offroadeo and it was pretty cool. Ford sure treats you well out there.

I could never get my wife to go wheeling with me. After getting our '22 Badlands two door manual, I got her to go to the Utah Off-Rodeo and had her do 80% of the driving. She only tapped out on two obstacles, but she could not stop giggling the whole time. Now she is asking when I am going out with the groups I wheel with, and she want to go with me. We are planning to do the Nevada one next, with future plans to do them all, just because. Of course we will drive our Bronco to each of them, and wheel the areas afterwards, as we did in Utah. 😁

At the Moab off-roadeo they gave us a longer stretch of high speed off-road, I was able to get going quite fast in the lead vehicle with the instructor, unfortunately we had to stop and wait for the pack to catch up many times.

I finally got to get behind the wheel of one of these the other day and I thought it felt a lot bigger than it actually was. Also that soft top let in a lot of road noise.

Does Sasquatch package still not offer skid plates?
@ItMeDwaeji7 күн бұрын
Sas is lift with Hoss 2.0 (3.0 option in 2025), front locker, lower gears, advanced 4x4 and bigger tires. Badlands is lift with skidplates, swaybar disco and aux switches

Totally forgets the HOSS 3.0 suspension on the 22.5+ WildTrak and the HOSS 2.0 on other Sasquatch models, not to mention HOSS 4.0 on the Raptor.

Naive question: is "high speed" off roading 50+ mph or anything greater than rock crawling (4L driving)?

For me its any speed at which my tailpipe starts to pucker.

Great video!!! I'm waiting for an EV version of the Ford Bronco Raptor, Jeep Wrangler, lifted Rivian R3X , or Tesla equivalent to come out.

I have noticed that in some of your test videos, you tow a 7,000 lb flat-deck utility trailer with 1/2 ton and other sized trucks. For example, I have seen that an F-150's weight carrying capacity (i.e., NO weight distributing hitch) hitch rating is only 5,000 lbs. In the videos (in particular the F-150 vs. F-250 video), I noticed there was not a weight distribution hitch being used. Are weight distribution hitches not required for utility trailers with heavier loads since you can adjust the tongue weight and/or distribution of the load and they have a lower center of gravity and less wind resistance than something like a travel trailer or box trailer? Or, are weight distribution hitches absolutely necessary for any type of trailer in a heavier weight class? Is it possible to tow close to the F-150's max towing rating on a utility trailer with no weight distributing hitch? (Assuming the trailer can also handle the load and you do not exceed the payload and axle capacities of the truck)

You're assuming the lockers are engaging just because the light comes on. Any manufacturer could setup the same. Try it when stuck and let's see if they are really engaged.

More likely engaged then whatever the hell the likes of Toyota and ineos are doing where the computer has to take a few seconds to figure out if it wants to send the e lockers power

A co-worker of mine has a 2022 bronco with 99 k on it and the rear axle broke ( just under warranty) and they are not hard core off roader just not sure on the bronco reliability
@ALMX5DP7 күн бұрын
What do you mean by broke? What specifically happened, and what kind of use did they put it through during that time?
@NemeanLion-7 күн бұрын
I’ve heard about some issues with things breaking on the regular Bronco. I know in the beginning, there were a few big channels that were absolutely disgusted with the Bronco. Maybe they worked on a lot since then.

The rear axle had to be completely redone it took our local ford dealership a month to replace it due to parts delays

I like the bronco but hate all the crap that is under the hood as far as wires and hoses I like to work on my own vechicles but those engines look very complicated that is the reason I would never buy one besides the price of them is to expensive
