On the other hand when my daughter kisses concrete ive been telling her that she is going to crack the skate park one day and trash it for everyone.. lol Only say that when she has only hurt her pride, buresed her ego but nothing else and she snaps back with giggles and tells me that my ass is bigger than her's, ill be cracking concrete well befor she does. I know what makes her tick.. she is a cheeky shit and thats what i love about her. Thank you! I had the old ones but had to switch to harder bushings because I thought they wanted to turn too much even though not as sharp at once but enough to bother me. Skated the on a Polar p2 with 55 OG classics so kind of what Oski could skate. The nollie pop was hard and the board felt a bit too short for a 6.5 tall guy like me. But I got used to and liked them enough to keep skating until they broke in half where the axel ended after grinding down to it. Really happy that you did this review. I’m happy set on Thunders and currently debating 151 vs 149:s. I need a proper stable middle spot but of it wasn’t for the short wheelbase I would definitly buy them again.

i recently setup some indy mid 149 standards on a grimple stix cardiel 'huffer' shape, like a '92 football/egg - 9.18"x32.62", 14.75"wb. 1/8" risers, x97 56mm v6, bronson g3 with core spacers, DIY uhmwpe cutting board deck rails. i absolutely love it. i don't usually ride loose trucks but i think this board has converted me. i love just tic-tacking, getting low, pumping, carving, slashing. i don't even care about doing tricks on it, kinda tempted to get it in a bowl even though i'm not great at transition

I had the first gen Lurpivs and they were something to say the least, I teflon taped threads to try to lock them in, the Allen key pin helped tons it was just annoying. Fun trucks though! Skated so much better than I anticipated

I skated lurpivs for about a year after only ever skating Indy. there was just something about them I could never get used to. Flip tricks felt strange and grinds would randomly stick. I almost feel like they were too light and thin. If I’m not mistaken, the titanium axle doesn’t go all the hanger (?) and mine got a pretty serious bend. I don’t really skate any impact either. I agree with Ben that tre flips felt good. I disagree though that they don’t feel squirrelly. In addition it got really frustrating having to worry about the truck falling apart. Even when it didn’t fall apart, they would loosen and feel different every single session. I tried to remedy this problem with thread lock but nothing seemed to help. Went back to Indy about 2 months ago and it feels like home

We are comming back to eternal world terrain skating. Bit bigger wheels but conical to cut weight and cut through rubble, t-shank trucks you have faith in, and a normal width conical shaped popsicle (egg) to save weight where you feel it most (at the ends) while letting you thread obstacles. Other shapes are for pogos and paid advertisers be as WE are

The straight pressure flip had me rolling! There was a time probably back in 1992 where I had that trick wired. Tried to do one on flat recently and couldn't even come close. Just kept thinking to myself how the hell did I ever do this trick? It's crazy to think that I learned all those crazy pressure flip variations before I actually learned most of my core ollie/nollie based flip tricks.

I tryed 50, 51 & 52 wheels but once i tryed 54 mm wheels i cant go back! I found bones skatepark formula wheels 84b hard to be really nice and 54 mm is the smallest size they make. And feels alot smoother to skate ramp! I recommend you not to try heroin skateboards egg shaped deck! Specially 8.75 deck that is 8.38 near trucks, has razors edges, 14 wheelbase, dubbel nose 6.75! It feels smaller then standard 8.25 board, turns and flips like a dream. Im not able stop riding egg boards after trying one out! Great video!!!!! 😏👍

Have a question about trucks. Having a difficult time removing a broken kingpin( hollow one) from a thunder truck I actually watched a vid by tactics to get some help, but the kingpin isn't budging (used a hammer and bolt). Any advice? Backside no-complys (step hop, 43s, whatever) are so good! Could never do them.
