Brings back some good memories. I mind the first time I went from Ballymena to London in Jimmy McMordies wee F7 Volvo loaded to the gunnells in the early eighties, i thought I was never going to get there. I had a couple of 143's pulling for Interland transport in the late eighties myself " Cameron Transport" and I remember seeing you taking pictures in Hilton park mostly on a Sunday when we were coming down from Stranraer so I might be in some of your videos somewhere. Anyway I really enjoy looking at your videos it reminds me of the good old days and where did the time go. Thanks for putting them on here.

I have been trying to track down videos and you tubes of 70s,80s & 90s trucking scenes for years, now I think I have found them. Makes a change from Boeing 747 spotting at Heathrow although that is of course history now. Would be great if anyone can load any Dover ferry port videos from the 80s especially showing trucks going up and coming down along the familiar "Jubilee Way "bridge. I hope more and more 80s truck scenes appear in future times.

Back then 360 to 450 was the most common hp range. Now it's 450 to 550 and not carrying anymore weight. Nice to see all that nostalgia though. 1997 was the year when the 4 Scania and fh Volvo really became more common on the roads as you can see from the video. A real nice blend of the older and newer gens there.

143H (H) for heavy as in chassis for Irish Market ad the roads were bad 143M (M) for medium for UK better roads and never overloaded or driven flat out
