It is true that Stephen Harper went to the World Economic Forum. During the years of the Conservative government we actually became unaware of this sort of thing that was extremely important to the future of Canadians. I am a former Progressive Conservative when, seriously, the people involved were truly interested in helping fellow Canadians and making this a just and fair society. Now I receive dunning for donations EVERY DAY from the immature Canadians involved in Pierre Poilievre's team and he does nothing to stop it. I may not vote for Poilievre, but remove my ballot - something we can request so that it goes on the record that there was no one we felt would represent our interests properly. Pierre almost never mentions seniors. But living on the government pensions (and I don't mean the generous government employee pensions) is a day-to-day challenge, stressful and challenging. Who would have ever dreamt that in my old age I'd be worried about food, heating and housing????? This is all thanks to people who regard being a politician as a benefit to them personally, financially and in many other ways, not really relevant to whom they should be thinking about and acting for, loyal Canadians. During my lifetime I benefitted this country more than many politicians. And I was always involved in politics on a voluntary level mostly, but the changes I've seen are almost stranger than fiction. Thing about it, who would ever consider it normal to have to pay (donate) to politicians who term it "urgent" so that they can bolster their advertising budget to inundate us with more rhetoric?

I want you to think what happens if they have an unbeatable majority: Alberta will get it own PP because our friend will give ANYTHING to Alberta. That means they will RAID the CPP of 1/2 it’s value; big oil and gas will axe the carbon tax and ALL climate change acts passed in the last decade; electric vehicle and all the infrastructure for it will be put ‘on hold’; gas and oil will be granted all kinds of permissions to drill on government lands; many ‘Trump-like’ policies will be adopted.
