It is hard to beat that classic black and Sierra combo, however your Coach Rowan might do it. They are both beautiful. It is funny, Dooney had a Rowan too that is a similar silhouette. I’ve come to realize I love a good satchel. And I don’t care from which brand so long as the quality is good and I love the bag. I own these two bags as well as the speedy 25. They each are different yet similar in so many ways. I love the external pockets that both the Rowan and the Trudy have which the speedy does not. However, when I want a bag that is this barrel shape but more soft in structure, the speedy cannot be beat. Each bag stands on its own as far as looks and fashion and love all three so much that I have multiples of the Rowan (Crossgrain leather in blossom color and signature perforated leather in chalk color) Speedy 25 classic in both monogram and Damier Ebene. My only Trudy is black on black and I love the monochromatic look of it. The black leather with the black handles is just so classy to me! Thanks for the review and keep enjoying your bags! 💕

I’m getting so curious about the speedy 25. From all the reviews it looks like an amazing bag. I’ve never thought of myself as a satchel girl but here I’m loving them. Tfw!

Both bags are my favorite silhouette but I generally purchase bags like The DB Olivia, which is more on the Speedy 30 size. Which is my jam... for Coach it is the Rogue satchel. Thank you for sharing!!!❤️🤎💙💜💚🤍🧡🖤💛♥️

Great comparison 😃. I like to see a lot of videos when I’m debating about getting a bag as well. I have a speedy 25; but it’s so ancient🤦🏽‍♀️. I love the style and I have a few Dooneys that almost hit the mark of the silhouette as well. I think Dooney really hit the mark closer with Trudy. They had a very vintage satchel that was close as well. I don’t know what it is about the speedy that other brands get slightly close to it, but never close enough to make me feel like I don’t want one. I agree to never say never as well. Thank you for the measurements. It’s very helpful.🌺

So Trudy is pretty close to the Speedy 25. I maybe in real trouble then😆 My bag likes are still evolving and expanding so I’m not going to box myself in anymore. Tfw💕

@@tanscott2001 Yes. I think Trudy is the closest in size and shape to the speedy. I think once you go over 10” in length, you lose the shape.
