I met Chris, Nancy, Daniel and Chris’s parents about a year before the tragedy. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I have been lucky enough to meet a few WWE superstars and Chris was by far the kindest. The way he interacted with Nancy and Daniel, I can’t help but to think how much CTE played into this. Glad you made it out there, as always, thanks for bringing us with you.

I don’t know if you know anything about the Fayetteville area. It’s been in a ton of films and shows. I remember hearing he left voicemails for family and friends telling them that Daniel and Nancy weren’t feeling good and that he wasn’t going to attend the match he was supposed to be wrestling at which signaled a red flag and he also text someone else about the family dogs. The WWE put in a request to go have a wellness check and that’s when they we’re found.

Hi new sub. GREAT Channel I'm hooked , what you were trying to say was, Have RESPECT for the family that lives there now, you have shown us every angle we need to see of the house.🥰

I remember when this happened. Shocking. So sad and tragic. Another case where the wife leaves or files but goes back. Never go back with someone violent and on drug's. Goodness. So tragic! I couldn't live in that house. Thank you for story. I didn't hear alot of it before. Take care.

You always do fantastic work. So respectful of the deceased & their families. Chris Benoit was one of my favorite wrestlers. I have never wanted to believe he did it, but then, would that make it any better? If someone was still out there and got away with it? It is just incredibly sad, no matter how you look at it.

The police found no hard evidence to prove exactly what happened in that house. The police came up with more questions than answers. The only reason police closed the case was because they didn't want to deal with it. I don't know if someone else was involved but multiple statements suggest that it's possible. As far as I'm concerned this case is still unsolved. Just remember the entire WWE/WCW locker room repeatedly said how Chris was the locker room peacemaker and voice of reason.

What statements said that it’s possible? Not trying to argue, I’m just genuinely curious

I had recently graduated HS and got a job in hopes of saving up enough money to attend my first WWE event (Benoit was one of my all-time favorites and was one of the wrestlers I most wanted to see). A few weeks later this happened. I remember how crazy it blew up all over the news and put a bad spotlight on wrestling. Even (almost) 15 years later it's still a haunting story.

Someone managed to catch Chris at his worst time so it can be blamed on him. I think Chris and his family were murdered by someone else and not Chris himself.

If only we knew decades ago what we knew about TBI's and CTE. The dude was 225+ lbs who did a flying headbutt off the top rope for a finisher and probably did it hundreds of times a year for many years. Then add in all that he wrestled in the era notorius for metal chair shots to the head. Stack on years of drug abuse and emotional trauma. Recipe for disaster.

When Benoit owned this house, it had a beautiful pool in the backyard. I see someone got rid of the pool. Beautiful home but I couldn’t live in it. Even if they were trying to sell it for $10, I couldn’t stay in it.
