The big question is why was the DNA profile used to convict not used to clear suspects who were still being hounded by police right up to arrest of man who was convicted I rest my case

This case I will always remember....I was 19yrs old at the time and myself and 3 mates were out driving around greenock that night/morning.....myself and 2 of them got pulled in for question's of cops a few weeks later...strange thing about this is 3rd friend didn't get pulled in for question's...he had red hair and criminal record..and at the time prime suspect had ginger hair .but he wasn't pulled in ....also the park you were in talking about this case in ..is straight across from my house...or approx 600mtrs as the crow flys ... I've just hit that subscribe, Button 😊...

Thank you for your kind reply, I dunno policing in the 70’s and 80’s led a lot to be desired, I appreciate with DNA things are easier but if the prime suspect is ginger haired and he doesn’t get questioned then like what the heck ! You live in a beautiful area, the older the get the more i want to spend time in Scotland.

You went to the wrong library. You’re near the greenock library. Her handbag was found near her house at library next to the McLean museum.

Oh really? Thank you for this, fortunately it was raining so hard I didn’t spend long looking or I could’ve been there for hours lol

Need to get all details correct before doing this video and study the case well, some commentators are brilliant but others dont do it well, i hope he gets better and he seems continuously out of breath even standing still, an effort to speak and shouldnt have to check notes either 👎

@@debbiekelly4583 thanks for the positivity Deborah, I work full time, this is a hobby, most ‘commentators’ do it as a job, I have yet to meet any of them that don’t use a prompter let alone notes, my videos are filmed in bulk whilst I’m away travelling. I have chronic asthma that I’ve had treatment for since before I can remember. If you’ve for nothing nice to say why express it? Turn away and move on I don’t harm your life in anyway. But, if things are incorrect I apologise to the victim. Enjoy your day.

I was in the pool hall too one morning and the police came in. My friend with red hair was taken to ask more questions I think, long time ago. Glad they caught the guy

@TheContinuingStories I just finished your story/documentary of that poor girl Elaine Doyle who passed due to a beast. Where you are at the end of your video, is Parklea/Port Glasgow, you're about 2 mile from East End of Greenock, about 4 from EDs grave South West Greenock. Anyway, her grave is in Greenock Cemetery, which is massive, and used to be the biggest in Europe, think it's like 3rd biggest now. If you ever visit Greenock again, do the lassy a favour, and don't film her final resting place, and show the deceased (including her nephew Jack) respect. If you do that, I'd show you where she lays (Off camera). Just drop me a message. But she's not some myth, she's a real girl, who died in most horrific circumstances, so if you're camera free, and feel like visiting just to show your respects, I'd take you.
