@NateApparently [REPHRASING INTO SIMPLER TERMS] Essentially, what you do in Tails' chapter will determine the story Knuckles will go through, since in the bad ending, Inocs seems to be planning to use the dead tails immediately to attack Knuckles, but that possibility is removed in the good ending, since Tails isn't dead in that ending, and how Knuckles endings, both good and bad, can change depending on if Tails survived the first chapter or not, or at least if the endings had some variation, in the good ending scenario, Knuckles escaping alone, or Knuckles escaping with Tails IF Tails was indeed still alive

Ok so I got the bad ending in this game so I’m gonna spoil just one thing…tails is dead but he’s brought back but he’s not the same…don’t collect the inverted ring and continue the game as normal until the burned city just keep walking and you’ll see

Its probaly like error AU where a certain asset (char or protag) gets corrupted and the rest of the world gets on more distorted whitout said asset, take it as skyrim modded but bugging and glitching cause of a missing texture
