I love how candid you are about the whole experience. Recognizing the grind and staying humble all in one. Hats off on this video. Great one bro.

thanks for vlogging your rotations. it's really interesting to see what you do everyday for a certain rotation. currently, i am in high school watching your videos and i am considering the pre-med track but i'm not completely on board yet. anyways, your videos motivate me and i love the pancake analogy. i agree, if you can't get in what you want to get in then what can you do to make up for it tomorrow? thanks again for a great vid!

I’m a Phi Theta Kappa student at Monroe community college. I really find it hard to decide between Medical school and PA school. The only problem that is disturbing me mentally is the financial part of medical school since I don’t have any support. Academic wise I’m doing very well as a Biology/Math major. What do you think I should do? I came to the US in 2016 as a refugee from Kakuma which is a refugee camp in Kenya 🇰🇪.

Honestly bro.. don't let money deter you from achieving your goals. If you wanna become a doctor.. it will pay itself off.

AmbitiousAbe Even if I get into medical school I’ll not be able to afford to pay for my living expenses and school. I don’t want to get into a big debt and I have just arrived in the country and I’m also a first generation college student. My gpa is like 3.94 I’ll be transferring to Cornell then I will apply to PA school after that.

With a GPA like that bro..you’ll have no problem getting into medical school. Like I said man, there is financial aid and scholarships to help alleviate the costs, but I wouldn’t want you to not reach your full potential due to fear of debt. We all take out loans, even us who are from here. However, as a physician.. you’ll make more then enough to pay it back if you’re financially responsible.

AmbitiousAbe do you think getting into a big school helps when applying to medical schools? I have to decide between public and big name schools I know I can qualify for scholarships and things of that kind but I also have a part time job that I’ll have to leave behind to attend those schools. SUNY Brockport is 40 min from my home but it’s a very local school.

Aloyce Motive top tier schools generally do offer better financial aid packages. And if you are a minority student with excellent stats, you are a gem and they will literally throw money at you to come to their schools
