I had bought this for my GF she refused to use it even though the doctors told her she was pre diabetic or diet controlled diabetic. She passed away in Sept. never having used any of it. I have had problems for years where I will get the shakes real bad and feel disoriented, I have been tested for diabetes and hypoglycemia* but it comes back negative but I have never been tested when it is happening. I am going to keep this with me and if I get the feeling again I will test myself, I wish I had thought of it earlier today when I was shaky. Thanks for showing me how to use it. Now I just have to figure out where the lance went.

Thank you for showing this it helped me. I just got mine and it won’t load properly after the set up. I have the M in the corner and three dashes and it won’t come off that. I turn it off and on it won’t it just loads that way. How do I get it to read the strip? I never get the icon.

Good and thorough demo. I would like to see a demo of a CGM. And tell us, does the reading really lag up to 15 minutes because it measures fluid (interstitial??), vs blood?????

Someone (maybe an Endocrinologist), is going to have to explain to me what difference it makes whether you take a blood sample from your finger tips OR the sides of your hands (like I do). Blood is blood is blood irrespective where it comes from in order to check blood glucose. Why would it not be as accurate???????????? The mind boggles - where's the research behind this????? As a Type 1 diabetic I use the Dexcom G6 CGM and I often compare those results to BG results taken from both the sides of my hand AND finger tips and they are always spot on - NO DIFFERENCE!!!
