When i became an adventist from a long journey frome Catholicism, pentcostal,Islam then adventist ,at first in the SDA church i was not a fan of Ellen G.White but after reading the great controversy book and the desire of ages i didn't only find a prophet of God but a inexhaustible source of biblical teaching and i thank God always for have showing me his true church in this troubled world

Below are some key scriptures that highlight this: 1. Prophecy as a Gift in the Church 1 Corinthians 12:28-31 "And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?" This passage shows that prophecy is among the gifts God has placed in His church untli now 1 Corinthians 14:1-5 "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men." Paul encourages the church to seek the gift of prophecy because it edifies the believers. 2. Prophecy in the Last Days Joel 2:28-29 "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." This prophecy is quoted by Peter in Acts 2:17-18 as being fulfilled in the early church, demonstrating that prophecy is part of the Spirit's work in God's people. 3. Prophecy as a Sign of the True Church Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." According to Revelation 19:10, "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." This shows that the true church will have the spirit of prophecy as a defining characteristic.These verses establish that prophecy is an important and active gift in the church of Christ. It serves to edify, guide, and prepare the church, especially in the context of the last days

Wow!!! I've known about Ellen White for 40 years, being raised SDA. But I have NEVER had anyone make all of those connections to the Bible messengers of God. I only recently heard 2 connections, such as her coming after the 2300 day prophecy. I actually teared up and got goosebumps. How beautiful❤ What a relationship she must have had with Jesus to have so much personal interaction with Him❤❤❤

I think the rumor about the painting of Jesus is just that; a rumor. Jesus has white hair in His glorified form, according to the Bible. That part about the painting shouldn’t have been included here. The rest was fine & built my faith & almost made me cry. That last part brought me down quickly. But thankfully I still believe Ellen was used by God.

I've been very interested in the SDA doctrines for the last year I've been watching three ABN Network for the last year or so and I really found their interpretations of Revelations very interesting especially chapter 13 didn't know a whole lot about Ellen White just heard she was a prophet but I like the way he explained it she's a messenger that made a little bit more sense and it shed a little bit more light on the books that she's written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit I thought it was a really enlightening video and I thought it was really done well and I'm going to check out your new KZbin station so may God bless you with your new podcast I enjoyed this video very much thank you

The picture of Jesus that EGW said looked as close a likeness of Him that she had ever seen; is on a bookmark i have that i got from the Director of EGW writings at the SW college in Keene, TX. It may interest you to know about a testimony from Elder Harold N. Williams that he gave in the 1980s while at Elmshaven attending medical missionary school. His mother was friends with Sr. White and she prophesied over him in a baby carriage that he would be a SDA minister and do wonderful works. Elder Williams personally knew Kellogg, Canright, and Jones, who all rejected her messages because of their sins and errors. Williams would see a bright light come from Sr. White's writing room around 1:00 am when he returned from the clinic. It would light up his room like lightning. He asked at the White's breakfast table what he was seeing. One of her twin grandson's remarked that it was the Angel Gabrielle giving her the words to write her last book, Acts of the Apostles. ❤ Amazing....

Technically speaking, both Moses and John the Baptist called the people to repentance. Moses had the Ten Commandments and John the Baptist literally called people to repent and be baptized

I've sat back and listened to this entire video and wasn't going to comment until the end when EGW claimed she saw an image of Christ that looks opposite of what the scriptures has said @1:31:55... Smh!!! As a 3rd generation SDA, I can say that all of the SDA doctrines are Biblically based., but not all are accurate. And the image of Christ is one amongst many! I am more than open to critiques...

Also, if the image of Christ, while on earth was dark skinned like the people he came from, at what point did His skin turn like the image at 1:31:55? And ...
