The part about the "bioluminescent eyes" that disappeared when he shined the light at them, really freaked me out because late spring time this year, early in the morning, my dogs started freaking out barking at something. So I went out on the balcony and looked around. I didn't see anything in my yard but I did see a weird dim shining of what I thought was large eyes in the neighbors hay field in the corner at the wood line where they put the round bales in fall, in spring time there's nothing there. It was pretty bright that night because it was almost a full moon and I could see that there was also something large there, which really freaked me out! So I kept telling myself it's just an old round bale thats wrapped and the moon is reflecting off it, even tho I knew deep down it wasn't lol. I went and got my spot light and when I shined it over there I couldn't see the dim glow, I couldn't see if anything was there either, it's about 400+ yards from my balcony and my spot light isn't the best. But when I shut the light off I could see the dim glow again. Freaked me out the rest of the night I didn't sleep, I even tried to wake my husband up to tell him but he didn't care nor did he think anything of it. As soon as it got day light and the fog lifted I went back out on the balcony and looked where it was and sure enough nothing was there. No round bales, no garbage, no bush, nothing. I've lived in my house my whole life, my parents brought me home from the hospital here and I now raise my family in it and I've never seen anything like that in my life! What's even scarier is in fall of 2019 my husband was doing a walk around of our property late at night because the dogs were going nuts and even my horses were snorting and running around. Him and our blue heeler (which isn't afraid of anything) walked around with a bright flash light, they walked down our long drive way and even down the road a bit in front of the horse field. Well they got half way down the road almost in front of my horse field gate and our heeler stopped dead in his tracks and wouldn't go any farther. So my husband walked a little more as he shined his light in the woods and then he saw large glowing eyes, eyes that were level with him looking out behind a small tree. He said whatever it was it never blinked, never moved, never made a sound nothing. When we've seen bear like that they've "huffed" or "chatter their teeth" as a warning to back off, this thing didn't do anything, like it wasn't scared of him at all. He said after looking at these eyes for a couple seconds he got a horrible feeling of dread come over him even tho he had his pistol on him. He took off running, dog right behind him, he came in the house white as a ghost. What freaked him out more was when I told him that area he saw it at has about 3-4ft drop from the road all the way back to the stream. So whatever he saw that was eye level with him was really standing 9-10 ft tall.

Back when we were 12, my cousin and I were hanging out at a local park on a warm summer day. We had biked there with some other kids on his side of the family when we were approached by what seemed like a boy who had lived close in the neighborhood. He asked us if we had seen his dog, we said no but we would let him know if we did. Things continued as usual, when I spotted a man sitting on the bench at the other end of the park reading a newspaper. I thought we were the only people there but it’s not like it’s strange for other people to be at a park so we ignored him. I did feel a little off since we didn’t even notice him arriving. The park was small with limited entry points so it was odd we didn’t notice him coming. But again we were kids goofing off at the park so paying attention to our surroundings weren’t high on our agenda. It was a short while when I glanced back at the man and saw him a little clearer, he was wearing a beige almost greenish suit. He looked like a father straight out of a 90’s sitcom. But when I looked up at his face, it wasn’t human. He had a dog’s head. I had to take a few glances to process it but I concluded it had a Dalmatian like dog head. I alerted the others, but we didn’t feel like he was real. We suspected it was the boy from earlier trying to pull a prank on us. But the stature of that dogman was far larger than a young boy. We approached the dogman cautiously to see if he was just wearing a convincing mask, but when we were only a few feet away, he started growling. A low growl that grew louder and more high pitched the closer we got. I started getting scared when I noticed the mouth was sneering. The lips pulled back to show teeth like how an actual dog would. If that was a mask, he must’ve paid good money for it. My cousins and I booked it so fast out of that park. If it was a genius prank that kid pulled on us, he definitely deserves this credit, but I was not going to risk a chance it wasn’t. Besides walking up to strangers was never a good idea for some minors anyways, who knows what he could had done to us. Ironically we go back to that park a lot of times but we never encountered anything like that again. And we never saw the boy again either…

You know, as I hear more of these stories, I think my uncle may have had a close call with a skin walker. He’s a badass dude and very adventurous. One time he decided to do a backpacking trip by himself. First day out there he came across an old cabin and since it was getting dark he figured it was a great place to crash for the night. He woke up in the middle of the night to the cabin shaking and something growling outside. When he woke up in the morning he said there were claw marks on the side of the cabin. He wrote it off as a bear and so did all of us. I was skeptical still, because what are the odds that someone in my family has an experience with a skin walker. Up until this video, I had never heard of them shaking a structure. Now I’m almost certain that he had a bear miss with a skin walker that night.

OMG, STORY #4!!! Oh gosh, story #4 had me gripping my sheets tightly and then to hear at the end of the story (not in these exact words but...), “ if anyone has heard gunshots in or around Greer or HAWLEY LAKE..” Holy fucken shit, my brother, my sister in-law, and my dad and mom frequent that lake for fishing. I have never heard anything like this from them but I will certainly ask. I’m 💯% Native American by the way, I derive from the Navajo tribe. I have never had any experience with skinwalkers myself but my sisters have seen one as they were driving home one night. My mother lives about 4 to 5 miles off the highway, you’d have to drive on the graded road to get to where she lives. These skinwalkers come around to my grandparents house all the time but they stay away from my parent’s home for some reason. Well, I know why they stay away because you see, my mother is a Christian and she’s very deep into her faith. I was once told my mother’s place of residence has a bright, shining light beaming from it and this is why these skinwalkers stay away from her home. Just thought I’d share this with y’all. ✝️💜🛐

I personally like going exploring I have not really explored forests but this is something that you should take to to heart whether it's city exploring or forest exploring There is a difference between quiet and silent When you're walking through a quiet forest, birds are chirping and normal things are doing their stuff When you walking and nothing is making a sound, turn the way you came from because there is something very wrong Turn back the way you came from Run I don't care If you don't want to end up missing Don't keep on going And listen very closely You're instincts have taken thousand of years to make it to perfection When you feel off in a forest, Don't continue There is a difference between being a bit scared and knowing something is off. Turn back now.

Honestly I've seen a lot of stuff in the woods by my house and in my house which is basically next to the woods but nobody else ever seems to see anything but my family which makes me wonder if my family has spirits attached to it cause I am native American and I am related to many native American chiefs from many tribes so it's not to hard to believe but I've made peace with it cause I'm 6'7 almost 6'8 and Cary a weapon with me whenever I go in the woods and workout so I should be fine but it still sometimes creeps me out a bit

I had the urge to share this story from my uncle. 2-3 years ago my cousins and my uncle were camp alone and they were at the campfire and they were telling stories to each other and after my cousin was done telling a story about a powwow he was at. My uncle heard a sound it sounded like crying he said but they ended up brushing it off. Two minutes later my older cousin/cousin two heard another crying sound and said to my second older cousin "I heard crying" my uncle heard my cousin say that and he asked if if they wanted to take a peak. They got up and walked a little bit towards the direction from where they heard the sounds and my uncle seen something he described is as a tall looking creature and he heard my 1st older cousin say "run" they all ran cousin 2 says "what are we running from" my uncle says in a panicking voice "skinwalker". Once they all get into the trailer they were all out of breath. That's all my uncle told me and it was the worst time to tell me cause it was when our school when camping Ps:I'm half nakota and half dakota souix and I'm from a rez school so my uncle and other family who knew about our culture went.

Idk about "real" but I've had a few things happen in the deep woods that were utterly bone chilling. Never directly seeing anything. Its almost always during sleep paralysis, and then as soon as I wake up, the vibe would still be off. The worst was in the pacific northwest in Southern Oregon. My girlfriend at the time shared the same paralyzed nightmare and woke at the same moment. I'm still shaken by the fucking thing that moved out of the tree line in the dream. Weird thing was, I had no knowledge of "skinwalker" lore or imagery and found the stories about a month later

This isn’t super exciting, no one got hurt to my knowledge and if I’m being honest, I’m sure it can be explained away, but my friends don’t agree so I figured I’d share. One of the girls is actually convinced we had a skin walker run in. The week before COVID shut everything in the US down was my spring break. I was a junior in college and my roommate had a very large cabin in the mountains of NC so my group of friends took a trip out there. This cabin has maybe 200yds of open field surrounding the massive 3 story building then a thick wooded area that goes on for miles. I would have bet my life that there were 5 of us guys and 5 girls until I wrote this but I’ll bring that up later. Myself and one of the girls weren’t there the first night so I can’t swear to this but the first night, one of the girls freaked out because she said she saw someone (“something” as she later called it) standing on hind legs outside the cabin in the middle of the night. She is a bit paranoid though (she lives at my apartment and is convinced it’s haunted) so no one thought much of it. One of the guys went outside to check it out but said there was nothing. The next day, one of the girls and I drove out to meet everyone else. It was about 4 hours and she slept through the entire thing until we got to mountain area. Maybe 30 seconds before she woke up I started to feel anxious which isn’t normal for me, then she jolted awake saying she had a nightmare and she is the strong stoic type too. Weird, but nothing noteworthy on its own. The day was normal enough, went on some hikes, shot some guns, etc. then we went out back to have a little campfire at around 10pm. The girl I drove up with was on my right and we were both facing the woods. At one point she started hyperventilating and grabbed my arm. Back then she was usually quieter and everyone but me was pretty drunk so no one noticed. She was staring at the tree line and I tried to follow her gaze. I had just been looking at the fire so it took a moment for my eyes to adjust but when they did I could see a very large dog just standing there motionless. At first I thought it was a trick of the shadows until it started moving in a very odd jerky motion back into the woods. The two of us were texting about what to do as to not freak out the others and we decided not to say anything but we kept an eye out in case it came back. I didn’t see anything else that night but the next day, one of the other guys mentioned catching glimpses of a large dog in the woods during the previous day. The next night we partied inside. Nothing special: some drinking games, a bit of ultimate spoons, and again I didn’t drink. We kinda split up into 2 groups towards the end of the night and I was with the guys minus my roommate who owned the place, and a girl who grew up in hick central and has been hunting and dealing with large animals her entire life. We were hanging out in the kitchen when we heard a crash from the screened in front porch. Before I had even processed what had happened, the redneck girl was ready to go and had grabbed the largest steak knife from the block. I was only the second strongest guy there but the strongest was ham wasted so she asked me to follow her to check it out. I’ll be honest, I’m a little sexist when it comes to stuff like that so even though I had no clue what I was doing, I took point. We walked around the entire large porch but there was nothing different but we all definitely heard it. Again, like any dumb white purple in a horror movie, we ignored it (my best friend is the stereotypical cautious black guy, but he was also the one quarter past shwasted so). The third night was the weirdest. The night was more relaxed with just some light drinking and everyone turned in relatively early that night at maybe like midnight. Myself and the girl I drove up with stayed up to clean up from dinner when we heard something I honestly don’t know how to explain coming from the backyard. Almost sounded like someone screaming through a radio but really loud. The two of us ran outside onto the 2nd floors back deck (kitchen was on floor 2) and looked outside to see if it was someone else in the group who had gotten injured. I went down to the ground level to see if they were out of sight and she followed. Neither of us were scared, just concerned. As I was checking the side of the cabin, she grabbed me and insisted we go back inside. Like I said before, this girl is tough as nails (nearly killed a man once) so her getting that rattled is rare, and I’ve only seen it once since after something very traumatizing happened to her. She would not tell me what she saw and at the time I just chalked that up to us not being very close and her not wanting me to think she’s crazy but now over a year later I would consider her my sister and she still won’t tell me. Right after this, the others ran outside saying they heard that scream too and thought it was her. At this point I was thinking it was a coyote cause they can make some weird sounds and the two girls who grew up hunting and the guy whose family owns the place agreed so we went back inside. Around 3:30am we were all asleep (myself and 2 of the other guys bunked in the basement) when I heard that scream again, but this time it almost sounded like it came from upstairs. My other two roommates didn’t stir (although they sleep like the dead) and I didn’t hear any movement from the room next door where some of the others were sleeping so I went to go back to sleep when the girl who saw the figure in the front yard the first night was knocking on all the doors telling us to wake up and get in the cars. Her boyfriend calmed her down and she eventually explained that the last time she heard a scream like that was the night my roommates uncle died in that cabin a year prior during a big family reunion. We didn’t go into the cars but we did stay together in the living room (some because they were scared, the others cause it was fun). Nothing noteworthy happened after that and we left after one more night. I don’t believe any of what happened was any more than coincidence. I think that all the small stuff built up like that because we were looking for it after seeing the weird animal near the woods and hearing the screams. One thing I can’t explain though is the numbers. I mentioned the two girls who grew up hunting, the girl I drove up with, and the girl who saw something before I got there, but I am positive there were 5 girls and 5 guys in our group before that trip but I only remember 4 girls going and only 4 in the group since. The others have the same memory of the ratio and they think that the “skin walker” took her and wiped out memories. Oddly enough, later that summer after my roommates parents took a trip out there, the cabin went up for sale.
