So sad that after his girlfriend left him and he lost his job and his parents died he had to go through that terrible experience of coming across a family who was killed by a wendigo and then got chased by it until it got struck by lightning and he jumped off a cliff but at least he got saved by a thunderbird that caught him like that scene in the lord of the rings and brought him to Colorado where he immediately met his dream girl who was a truck driver.

@William Patterson well yes and no, I mean dark spirits and evil aligned mutant/magical beasts when I refer to monsters, a thunderbird is a good aligned magical beast, so I refer to it as a beast and not a monster for reference, Thor also has to magical regenerating goats so exceptions exist when referring to all magic mythological and fantasy beasts as monsters.

The last story actually reminded me of something. I doubt it was anything supernatural, but it was pretty scary, especially as a woman. I live in the country, I always have, which is why I moved into my first own apartment in the country. Surrounded by woods and fields. I do not have a dog, but a cat which is very similar to a dog xD. And I always took her for a walk at night because she never liked to go out alone and I had a lot of trouble sleeping at that time because of stress for studying. Most of the time she always stayed near me, but sometimes she liked to roam around and if she was too far away for me, I would whistle and call for her. This story made me remember the night to which I never gave much credit. I live in a pretty safe neighborhood as far as people and animals are concerned, so I always assumed (and still assume) that somebody was playing a joke on me, who also couldn't sleep at the moment. But something whistled back. Kleo my cat was already with me and seemed frightened, but since she doesn't like other people either, this is not unusual. I immediately turned around and went home with her while I heard someone whistling in the background a few times. After that it never happened again and nothing followed me or anything. But to think back now with this story in the back of my mind it is a bit scary xD.
@JamesSmith-gm7fm3 жыл бұрын
I don't remember if this is true or not but from a friend of mine who's a full blooded native American he told me that if you whistle back to a skinwalker when it whistles it will think you're another one of it's kind and leave you alone. So what you did might have saved your life

The meowing in one story could be different animal ike bird or something. Maybe some young bird or small mammal searching his mother and crying for her and it was scared of the woman so it escaped into the forest. Probably bird or small mammal so she didn't notice the movement. Baby animals are often darker color so they can hide in grass or on the ground. I sometimes heard kitten like sounds from different animals in the forest, it's just coincidental similarity.

I love how the first author, in her last story, jumps straight from "kitten crying" to "it must be a wendigo"- which seems oddly specific. 🙄 20 ft is not really that far + kittens are fast & small, it was dark, and humans have relatively crappy eyesight (especially at night). If wendigos were real & it was a wendigo making that sound, do you really think 20 ft of space between the car & the trees would matter? Is there some magical rule about Wendigos & open terrain I'm unaware of? Because if anything, the perfect time to attack was when this chick bent over to look under the car. Pretty sure it was a cat. Between as often as people flat out lie & people like this (who clearly let her imagination run wild) is why I'll only ever believe this kind of shit when I see it or see unimpeachable proof... which is hard to come-by these days given you can fake just about anything if you have decent video-editing skills & one of the numerous video editing software programs that are widely commercially available these days & are even relatively inexpensive. By far, the scariest things out there are people.

Okay, I love this channel and Wendigo and Skinwalker stories, especially Skinwalker stories, but story two has an issue. At the beginning of the story, the storyteller is in the Appalachian mountains, which are in eastern North America/U.S., but at the end of the story, they are in Colorado, which is in the western part of the United States. This wouldn't be an issue except that the storyteller says they ended up on the other side of the state, not the country. This is problematic for a few reasons. One is that the Appalachians are in more than one state and even stretch up into Canada, so it is wrong to say the story took place in a single state. Two is that Colorado is on the opposite side of the country from the Appalachians and the Appalachians are not on the other side of the state of Colorado. Three: the major mountain range found in Colorado are the Rockies, not the Appalachians, the Rockies being the western counterpart to the Appalachian mountains, so it would make more sense if the story took place in the Rockies, not the Appalachians. Four: I am thinking about this too much and I guess that the storyteller meant the Thunderbird flew him across the country and not just across a state. Either that or I guess any storyteller would be confused after almost being eaten by a Wendigo and jumping off a cliff. I know it would mess with my mind, including my geographical memory. haha
