@@beautifulandbothered you can use double sided tape to keep it up. I but it at the drugstore, forgot the brand name but it works amazing. Saved me at my brother’s wedding since the bridemaids dresses were not picked with my body type in mind. I had to ‘defy gravity’ so to speak since I am ‘blessed’ and I taped the Whole dress up. It worked and I danced the night away no stress. So for future outfits that is my one suggestion , that tape is magic

My mom had makeup in a drawer in our bathroom and she had this electric blue single eyeshadow that CALLED to me (circa 1989) so I took it to school with me and applied it all over my lids up to my brows (I had NO idea what I was doing). The reaction that I got from students and teachers alike scarred me to the point where I just started wearing a full face of makeup 2 1/2 years ago (I’m 46 now). I look back on it and laugh but can you picture it!?! 😂🤣😂 Love you guys!! ❤

Oooh! You probably won’t read this but when I worked at Nordstrom we were taught to take things back without opening. Someone returned a lipgloss box to the MAC counter and when she left we opened it- there was a crackpipe in it. No lipglass. She also returned 200 dollars worth of makeup after receiving services from one of our artists.😮

First time I tried to bleach my hair, I was 17 and was at my friends place, and we used a box kit from like target or wherever, and it went orange. Had no idea how to fix it ourselves, so I put a hat on, we went to a hairdresser, and I just had them dye it like dark cool tone red. Have since learnt how to do it myself properly, but omg the ginger was real 😂

Paradise AQ makeup is the best for special effects or weird skin tones. Its water based so you can mix/blend. They dry matte and are very smear resistant! And they wash off with just soap and water. They take some practice to apply and blend but once you get used to them they're very easy. I like to use eyeshadows to contour/highlight on top of them.

My story. I was 13 or 14 and had a huge crush on on of my stepdads friends kids. My crush had told me once he thought my blue eyes were pretty and I was like omg. So...what did I do? I decided that well I have those blue eyes so it would be a great idea to use blue eyeshadow...blue eyeliner...blue mascara...all the next couple times our families were together. I then saw a picture...I, to this day (I'm 40) have an issue when I use blue eyeshadow, I never feel like I get it to look right because I cannot stop thinking about that lol.😂😢😅😊

Ooff, I worked in a salon as the receptionist and it was back in the early 90’s with tanning beds. 2nd appointment for someone and a stylist set it for the full 20 mins. This poor lady was red as a beet and ended up with sun poisoning. Truly like she had been at the beech for an entire day without sunscreen. Peeling, bubbling, painful plus all the awful stuff that goes with it. 🤦‍♀️

Fun story. I used to keep my head shaved close, longer on top. I went to some rinky dink Great Clips just to get the neck cleaned up, she cleaned the neck edges with clippers, charged me $7 for a (men's) neck trim. Went again to see her...$7. Went again, she was off. Saw someone else. Got the same thing...charged $25 for a women's trim. It's utter BULLSHIT.
