So yesterday i was in a trotro (public transport) when I got angry. Actually got angry before entering the car. Deep within me i didn't know why I'd gotten angry, i guess due to how my day was going as at then. I decided to calm down and then i came across this. But unfortunately it couldn't calm me even though this made a lot of sense. I got more angry that they were hitting all the right buttons😅. But rewatching it again after I'm calm is just making me smile at my foolishness. I pray for grace to control my emotions. Cos it seems i get angry these days at even silly things. And this isn't me

We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses and they are watching us like we are performing on stage...So when we are faced with any temptation or circumstance, our response to it should be in the way Jesus would respond to because as we do that we are conforming to His image... That is why temptations and circumstances are portals to God's blessings and we should be happy about them!!!

The emotion of Anger in itself is not bad. What makes it seem bad is the way most of us handle it. Anger can be good when constructively applied. For instance, it can be a pointer to be introspective so that certain deep seated damages can be assessed and repaired. It can also be a tool in setting healthy boundaries when one finds themselves in toxic/unhealthy situations. God too gets angry you know. The key is to be careful not to destroy anything just because one is angry but rather, to use it as a tool to build ourselves and our relationships. Also do not let it fester. God bless you sisters.

Thanks so much TED. This topic really spoke to me. Just like Ella said, many times the Holy Spirit speaks to us but we refuse to listen because we want to be heard. This has happened to me so many times and I feel I've lost a lot as a result of my being angry. Once I have even been angry with my destiny helper. Thank God for who He is, love himself. He has restored me and is helping me. I know aunty Lara would do justice to the topic. The wisdom of God is in her. She's a Counselor.

God bless TED Talk. Parents truly need to observe their children especially the ones that harbour anger. My dad used to give off the impression that he doesn't like my brother. It's showed in how he treated my brother from speaking harsh and bitter words over and against him to actually slapping and threatening to beat him up. My brother at some point, transferred aggression to me most especially. He would beat me up. Not once not twice. We're now grown and independent of our parents but my brother still expresses the traits of anger. My mother on the other hand, is still bitter about my father's philandering and adulterous escapades... She still refers to them till date whenever my father gets her upset. I pray God will help us and deliver us from anger, unforgiveness and bitterness.

Woow, what a great episode and even greater Topic. Anger indeed is not something to take lightly as Christians; but I also believe that it can be a tool that the Holy Spirit can use if we allow Him to mould our character in Christ. And like Mrs Oyor said, imagine yourself on stage and the great crowd of witnesses watching how you perform. That will help you handle anger when it comes better. Also of note: The Lord is more interested in building our character in Christ than our worldly comfort. So may God help us to grow up into Him.
