A good triple ranked exceed @Duel Links Meta is geargiant XL or something that has 2.5k atk, and can negate during the battle phase but it's floating effect only works on machines, and not earth monsters.. F.

Would the DNA Traps be useful in this deck? I may have not read Nightmare Shark or Acid Golem, so I don't know if they have specific material requirements, but you could potentially use it to make Sentry Soldier of Stone active more often, by making all monsters Rock-types, so you can Summon Sentry more often

Doki-doki, discard a rock type, special another rock type from deck. Triamid Pulse, Fragment Fusion for Rock-type Gem-Knights fusions, Release From Stone, or Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane, could support the full rock type deck. There's actually A LOT of rock type Xyz monsters which current Only-NPCs are using. Pray Konami be releasing them too, like Guardian Sphinx, and get that (dayum) Giant Soldier of Steel.

I just made a similar deck with 3 Sentry, 3 Magnetic Field, 2 Triamid Hunter, 1 Power Giant, 1 Gorgonic Gargoil, 1 Monk Fighter, 1 Tackle Crusader and 1 Wheeleder (the rest being 2 Kites & 2 Karma, 1 MST and 2 Rock Bombardment). I think Block Dragon would also be good to add. The idea is to activate Magnetic Field (protection), summon Triamid Hunter which in turn summons any rock monster from the hand because Magnetic field is activated -> make Gargoil Guardian. Also with Magnetic field on, you can summon Monk Fighter, attack a non targetable monster and get it off the field (you take no damage because of Monk's effect). Power Giant is a no brainer for easy Xyz (or to trigger Tackle). Wheeleder can make level 6 and 7 synchros, but more importantly it can be used to summon Nightmare Shark or Acid Golem. You can also play Doki Doki which leads to some spicy plays giving access to level 8 synchros (Doki + Wheeleder + Sentry).
