This game has so many parallels to FF XV, Clive is almost Noctis' living legacy, lol. And I would reverse that, but Valisthea got far enough to build air ships, who knows, maybe they had a whole society similar to ours before Ultima razed it to the ground and now Clive's timeline has to start over from scratch 😅. That is sort of what happened.
