1920's DRG train: KPEV P10 & Mitropa wagons. (Marklin 37939, 4261,42769 & 42757.

This is a video of german provincial railroads to DRG era. This is absolutely era correct of the early 1920's. There is just a handful of material released by Marklin. Some small selection of steam locomotives such Baden IV h and S/6. Some bavarian electrics such EP 5. When it comes to passenger wagons or sets, the choice is really thin and hard to find. When Marklin released the KPEV P10 (37937, 37938 and 37939), I wanted to pair it with mostly Mitropa wagons. So, thinking way ahead before eventually Marklin released the P10, Marklin released the 42757 "Roaring 20's" Mitropa set 15+ years ago for S10??. Looking for additional cars, I found a Mitropa, ex CIWL, teak wood restaurant. Finally, I wanted to add some coaches and unless you dig on purchasing another 4 wagon expensive set. I had to look into a really old add on set. That how I found the ex Bavarian 4261 2 wagon set of plus 20 years back. These are extremely well detailed models. i am just waiting for light kits for them.

Fleischmann and Piko released few ex KPEV wagons in the early DRG paint scheme and Roco did the same with former Bavarian wagons.
