I was married almost 25 years. My wife had an affair that ended our marriage. She also told people that I beat her. In all our years I never put my hands on her. It never crossed my mind no matter how much she hurt me to kill her. When your in a marriage one person does not own the other. Now years later I have forgiven her. But I did ask her one question. Why did you tell people I beat you? She said she got bad advise from one of her sister's. Our daughter was so upset with her for lieing and cheating she would not speak to her mother for almost two years. I told my daughter that it's your only mother and that some day I want you to forgive her. They now have a good relationship.

@@RampageRalph We know he didn't want the divorce, the issue is not that. The issue is he loved himself to the point where it was all about him and his wants and needs. My poor kids have been through hell and back . If only the trooper did his job I would have gotten sole custody , which my ex would not have been able to torture and threaten our kids lives later on to set me up as the bad parent . By continually appearing on TV begging for Katrina's return, he took the risk of not seeming believeable. He was not a very good actor and would have been smarter to instead, try and appear more enthusiastic about searching for her body. And it was never addressed, but was his motive not wanting to lose his " meal ticket" in a divorce or to get insurance money since ha was so heavily in depth. Also, he had the motive of jealousy because of her affair.!!! He actually had multiple reasons for killing her. And because he set fire to his parents house with them in it at age 17, he was a dangerous person for 17 yrs. at age 44.

My family knew Katrina’s family. When my mother went to the vigil, we specifically asked Todd if he had done anything. He said something to the extent of, how can you think that, but he never actually said no. When the police went through his house looking for evidence, Todd went absolute APESH!T when they took that bat. The worst part of the trial was the pictures of her body after they found her in the river - they didn’t even look human. Her mother was at our house that thanksgiving after her body was found and it was heartbreaking to hear her mother cry for her daughter. From my understanding, Todd is having a really hard time in prison, and I hope it stays that way.

I worked on the search for Katrina along side her brother ( a GREAT man btw ) and many others. Her husband Todd hugged me and thanked me for helping, deep down we knew all along he killed her and that we were basically searching for her body. Found out later he ran through the woods behind my house on his way back to his house after he dumped her in the river, likely over the bridge. I lived only a couple blocks away from where her car was found . Poor Katrina. Todd is just a complete psycho. Rip Katrina xo

ok cheating is disgusting and i'm not supporting that at all but if some of y'all really think she deserved to DIE over that then you're just as insane as this man is. edit- i'm almost mad they mentioned her cheating here because i truly don't think it was the cause or even explanation, but an excuse. this guy was clearly crazy from the beginning.
