@@dawnjackson6299 yes while I agree there are changes that could be made you have to take care with such things. Our justice system is based on innocent unless proven guilty for good reason. Otherwise anyone could accuse anyone else of some violent crime and have them locked away for months or years even if they are innocent. That's why there needs to be evidence/investigation/conviction before a person can be denied their freedom. Now the fail here is on the original judge. There was sufficient evidence to deem him a danger to the public which would deny bail. That's on the judge not necessarily the system itself.

They don’t think like adults so they can easily feel uncomfortable or fearful - trying to please and gain acceptance by a new someone mom or dad is intimate with. Older kids too. Change is hard for everyone so you don’t need the added stress of having someone who is mean. Adults should be the ones to take the weight of the discomfort and conform - not children.

I wonder if the Detective who was working her case, who ended up getting romantically involved with her. If he got into any type of trouble, for mixing his duties as a Detective, who also got involved with her ? Most Police Departments if not all, are totally against that. If he wanted to be involved with her. He should of told his Superior Officer, so they could assign another Detective to handle her case. Mikes Lawyer probably used that relationship to his advantage. Trying to convince the Jury, anything the Detective claims as evidence against Mike. Mikes Lawyer, may have tried to say the Detective was setting him up, out of jealousy. Why didn't they interview him ? In my opinion, I don't believe it was actually Nicole's ideal to do the pictures. Obviously he knew so much about Nicole, he may of seen the pictures Mike took of her. He may of made a comment. The Detective may of made a in a comment in a suggestive kind of way. Because Nicole was so afraid of Mike, and right fully so. Maybe Nicole did the pictures to keep the Detective close to her. In my opinion I feel that Holly felt the intimacy part of the relationship. May have been a bad idea too. I just find it strange that the Detective wasn't questioned by the Reporter who is representing this show. It seems Someone made the decision to try to avoid any remarks pertaining to the intimacy part of the relationship. Even Holly seemed very nervous by the comment She made. I wonder if the Detective was Married too ? I feel so bad for her Son, he felt he lost two parents that day. Based on the remark he made at the beginning, that his Mom was both his Mother and his Father. I also wonder if his Grandparents are still alive ? They didn't mention anything about Nicole's Family. Her Parents any siblings, any Aunts, Uncles, Cousin's ? I hope for her Sons sake, they do have other relatives, he can talk to or with about his Mom. Although nothing or no one will ever replace his Mom. I hope he filed a Civil Suit against Mike. Especially since Mike is spending the rest of his life in Jail and all the Horror, Mike put him and his Mother through. It seems like Nicole's Son is in College. He appears to be too old to be in High School. Law Enforcement needs to take Death threats much more serious, especially when the Person who is doing the threats is already known for being so violent. Isn't this the way it almost always turns out. Just as things are looking up for the Woman, the Abuser gets to the Abused before the Court date. I don't understand why the Police couldn't of put them under protection, after all he had serious charges pending against him. And Nicole was both the Victim and the Witness. May God Bless him and protect him, as he continues to go on without his Mom by his side, who is now his Guardian Angel.

I have a feeling this young man is strong because his mother made sure he knew he was loved and valued. That kind of love and assurance has gotten me through death of my own parents🙏🏾. Yes you mourn them, however because you never question their love for you, you are only left with the desire to live as they would want you to live🙏🏾. Sending virtual hugs to him and everyone who’s been through similar situations.🫂🫂🫂

They should have arrested him when he left that message on their porch- Can we all say how worthless Judges are, cops and DA?
@Challa1704 жыл бұрын
Sometimes this is what innocent until proven guilty does. They have to have a victim to even start to look for evidence, the fact that she was the witness and they still didn’t arrest him is asinine.

If I was that son, I'd be suing everyone who had a had in giving him bail (when he was facing a life sentence).

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Some people who are in custody for murder get bonds. Very high but they get them. Our Criminal Justice System is beyond messed up in more ways than 1..

1st that cop should be charged. He's taking a statement from a woman about her SA then starts heated exchanges with her that are se#ual in nature and raunchy & starts an affair. He's sick getting off on woman who are SA'd. He's a predator who needs to be charged as such. If a real cop handled the case she'd be alive.

How dare you show those private images of a dead woman? There was no need. Disgusting lack of respect for her.
@Goadventure434 жыл бұрын
I agree what bs is that. There was absolutely no need it didn’t even play into the story. They literally could have said she sent nudes and left it at that. It’s disgusting and vile.

The mutiverse Munkaila I don’t know, to me just because someone deals with something every day doesn’t mean they need to treat a victim so nonchalantly and pretty much disregard what she’s saying.

The Judge who gave him bail signed her death warrant. This scenario happens time and time again and the judiciary never learn from it, these judges are on the side of the perpetrator and never the victim. Life in prison is supposed to be life, but this murderer will hire some lawyer to look for loopholes to get this lowlife out of prison, and get a fat paycheck for doing so. Karma will get this guy though and he will suffer horrendously until he dies.
