What’s sad is the mother of the young woman who was kidnapped a while back in that area was there supporting and helping with the search and supporting the family bc of her loss.. then this young woman lied .. The judge shouldn’t be on the bench ..

I agree the young girl should be sentenced to prison to make an example for any copycat 😮

She is very selfish n just wanted attention. She should have at least done 6-12 months jail n made to pay back a certain percent or forfeit any tax return until it’s paid back since it’s government money she wasted.

Stalking should send people to prison quicker and longer than they can imagine. It's way too dangerous for the victims. Or victims need more self-defence rights. Perpetrators are getting way too much power, the ripple effect of stalking and the lack of consequence is immense.

Thank you for covering the (now found to be) fake kidnapping. I remember when that first happened before they knew what was going on, it was really confusing. I don't understand why anyone would be so devious/childish as to fake that they've been kidnapped. It's completely insane and selfish. Matt Murphy is absolutely right, she should have to go to jail and I think she should also have extensive therapy.

Autism doesn't make anyone do something like this. What is mostly dangerous is that he has a sex obsession/compulsion, is a s -ex offender AND tagged a 7 year old! I don't think he should be out and about, supervised or not. Nobody can keep an eye on him 24/7. It is a bad case waiting to happen. He needs both, treatment and incarceration. Preferably for life. He can't stop himself. He WILL do something in the future.

Autism as an excuse for stalking and obsession when the perpetrator is already receiving treatment? What? Yes, autistic people have severe hyperfocus (on favourite spoons, clothes, one food) and sometimes OCD, but claiming sexual compulsions that may harm children are part of autism is disgusting for the autistic community. The autism may make treatment harder, but sexual deviances are not part of autism. These are two different topics. What about declining jobs for him that enable him to meet people/children? What about committing him until he is stable? Or providing him with an assistance that monitors him? So many of these crimes are preventable.

Where's Ava. The kid in the vid he claims to have adopted, but may have been kidnapped. She was reported missing apparently. There's also a woman who came forward that stated he shot her in the face. JLo apparently carried into a bar for him also apparently. There is so much. What heck were these people thinking. Leave kids alone. 😠😡🤬

Fair enough thinking the young woman should have had a more serious judgement, but she is not a real serious threat to the community. The case about the male sexual offender, you seem more concerned about how you would be perceived, rather than the person who may be harmed. Remember, the victim is a person, and too many offenders are being released to reoffend even worse. Surely prevention is best.

You guys should cover the case in Ventura, California of the women who stabbed to death her boyfriend after smoking marijuana. The judge gave her 200 hours of community service ONLY!! Saying that she was psychotic from smoking weed and was not able to control herself. Absolute outrage! I personally think the judge was bought or did someone a favor!

I have to ask. Where their any crimes committed in the area, where the woman faked herself missing? Did the criminals of a crime benefit from the Police being wrapped up in her case? A planned distraction enabling the criminals to commit a major crime.

The court is saying "it's ok". Lock her up. I belive she should do at the least 4 yesrs for taking time away from real victims.she should be forced to make a public apology because we actually cared about her being missing. What about the people/kids she took time away from because she probably wanted attention from her bf. Seriously.

The idea of deterrence is a joke. If that were the case, there would be no murders, rapes or mass shootings. Prison has yet to stop anyone from doing anything terrible. Unfortunately. However, she should have gotten prison time.
@Rick-jg8vx7 ай бұрын
I agree with you completely completely the notion of deterrence through observational punishment has never been a factor in crime. What deters crime is what are my chances of being caught? So that whole conversation about giving her significant punishment to deter others sort of stupid. At the same time, I agree with them that she just deserves significant more punishment simply for the crime she committed

Wait a minute! So this guy is going to be pissed if it jumps to the front of the line? Maybe! Maybe just maybe. It's because they have so much evidence they can get the charges now. In other cases might not be infront on the list because there's not enough to put it there. That is probably the most asinine sentence I've ever heard anybody who works in our judicial system say. And if Combs is trafficking children... Then I want his ass at the front of the line.

I understand the anger at Carly’s fake kidnapping, but comparing her to Sherri Papini isnt really fair. Sherri continued the lie for YEARS and took go fund me money and victim services money after the alleged abduction. Carly admitted it a couple days after to the lie. Yes, it’s extremely messed up, and I don’t know how I feel about her sentence, but the comparison is just not fair. Also, the comments about autism are WILDLY outdated and uninformed as to what autism is and how it affects people.
