Massive props to Howe for these last 5 games, he's well and truly proved himself as a great manager, as I did have major doubts after Brentford. Just hoping we can go the extra mile now and finally win a trophy!

"Sandro and Bruno just work". The reason we are improving is because of the coaching, the practices, the game plan. Only a few weeks ago TF and Craig and many others were saying Bruno and Sandro would never work together. So let's give Eddie some recognition for the work he is doing. Teams don't "just work" instead it's huge amounts of work. HWTL

The guy on bottom right- Harry giving me Matt Helders vibes from Arctic Monkeys ahaha. But yeah solid performance, decent win from Newcastle just making most of what the absolute state is. That Man United r in but yeah positive, was something the performance indeed. See if maybe we will face each other in the Carabao Cup final. After they missed out in 2023 and with how much Arsenal fans carry on, even Arteta- hope get through. And yeah will get past Spurs ourselves, but yeah after missing out if we lost- wouldn't mind if was Newcastle aha
@daniel4224

We are looking like a solid team at the minute, the consistency of performances is giving me hope we can achieve something special this season. This run of away games has come at a perfect time, Spurs are all over the place at the back at the minute and if we get the 3 points against them on Saturday it will set us up nicely for the Arsenal away trip. Schar will be a big miss but I think Burn is currently the more important CB. The only thing that can stop us now is injuries 🤕. If we can get through the next weeks without losing any starters then we have to be confident of getting back into the champions league.

What a pleasant change. We have said before ‘this is the worst (insert team) in this case Man U team in years’ and we’ll never have a better chance to beat them at Old Trafford, well for once we actually did it with ease. It would not have been a shock to have been 5-0 up at half time.

Shout for Dubs allowing us to play out from the back and regain possesion and control... Pope doesnt get back in the team the way its playing, regardless of injuries Dubs is just making the teams job easier being the pivot between the two rather slow CH shows his confidence is up and is on his game. I cant see Pope fully fit adapting to this way of playing and doing it as well as Dubs has recently

What a performance! We were never going to dominate 100% of the 93 mins but my god to set ourselves up so well from the start and get ahead, we gave ourselves the best chance! I was never EH out but it goes to show how quickly things can change in terms of feeling so much more positive about the season. Winning breeds confidence and losing, like in turbulent times in life, makes you feel like everything you do goes wrong. These things happen. EH kept calm and under enormous pressure, settled the team again and has elevated our performances on the pitch. We aren’t going to win every game but at this point in the season, to turn our form around is perfect timing. There may be some bumps a long the way but I feel we are more than prepared! We have put ourselves in a really strong position! I’d rather be in our shoes than City’s where they are stuck in a mental rut which they can’t turn around (not that I care! Ha!) it would be great to sign a player or two to really add extra strength to the squad and enable us to push and secure a European spot. Genuinely pinching myself at how lucky we are to have Isak, Bruno and Tonali! These are good times and times in our lives to appreciate!! Let’s enjoy the ride! great podcast as always guys! 🖤🤍🖤🤍

I do not think Charlotte stopped smiling the whole 35:21. even looking, dare I say a little smug, (definition she looked a little smug after the game). Of course, why would you not. First league win since the Coal miner strikes of the 70's ( I, trouble at mine?) nowt like rolling blackouts and The Scum game away from home! (love your dad's use of the old school and most scathing name for them!). Have we finally turned a very heavy Page? My first NUFC game was I think 1965. I was 6 in the Leazes End Stand 60,000 capacity back then. When stand meant stand! Do not remember much except for Bobby Charlton heading the ball and his comb over flying around and the bright red shirts. Yes Yesterday was a highlight let's hope we can Stay Calm and Carry On! I do enjoy listening to Charlotte I have to say. Think she gets things right for me every time or pretty much so. Again, not for Charlotte or Alex - longstaff playing, being 12th, losing at home 2-0 vs West Ham DID happen. There is a very very clear reason for the change - Sandro Tonali - FORZZAAA TONALI!!! 🤌🏼🤌🏼 He’s changed everything - eventually after being allowed to work after the players conversed - the context is SO important. Agree with the other analysis - bonkers to not match the best midfield in the world, Nut job

First half, fantastic fotball at times, looked as if we could score every time we got onto their half. A couple of bad passes by our usual suspects would have been punished by a better team than Man U, but we are lucky atm and Dubs dont even have to make any saves due to their utter incompetence heh. Sure it could have been 0-4 or 0-5, but it could also have been 2-2. Second half, i dont get why we allow them the chance to get back into the match tbh. Moments of brilliance from our players here and there, but no nail in the coffin and slowly we allow them to build abit of confidence that again would be punished by a team thats not afraid of its own shadow like ManU atm. Ill keep ranting on subs until Eddie changes or my keyboard breaks heh, but how is that not a match were Eddie can influence the game with some influencial subs earlier in the second half? Allow Osula to come on and actually have the chance to make a run without knowing its gonna be his only chance of the match, for the second time in 20+ matches? Spot on team-selection for our starting 11 by Howe, but come on man, our subs need to be used smartly if they are to have the confidence and relations when they inevitably needs to be called on due to suspensions or injures, we cannot just hope for another season were we play the same 11 for 38 matches and magically have no injuries. Lastly just have to say that Dubs current case really showcases how fickle fotball are. Last year he was hounded for being useless and making our defense looks uncertain, this year he is a genius, while barely having to do anything besides being reasonably competent with his feet heh. All it all, we are looking effing brilliant at times, I hope Howe builds on it and that Botman and maybe a shiny new right wing in january gives us enough fuel to push on for a top 4 and that oh so elusive trophyhunt in the cups :D

Good video. I love the way enthusiastic sports people everywhere use the words ‘history’ and ‘historic’ to describe minor sporting milestones lol. Imagine how disappointed you would be as a parent one hundred years in the future if your kids were studying NUFC performances in 2024 in revising for a history exam where this was core curriculum! Not the Ukraine war, nor the issues in the Middle East as part of a balanced look at modern history, No, the important thing was NUFC’s historic win at Old Trafford lol. 😂. That aside it was a great win last night. Fills you with happiness and pride.
