Well, I'm old enough to remember 92. That's number one for me. In 2018 we came back from 5 goals and won by less than a kick. In 92 we were down by 4 goals but we won by almost 30 points. That was a damn good performance. All the while, I knew we were going to win. I just knew it. There was a sense of destiny about the whole week. Even 24 points down. We were always going to finish over the top.

I think Sheeds was right when he said loosing those 4 players affected the side. As for the drug saga, to me the only real crime was a lack of due diligance. Dank should never have been allowed to set foot in Windy Hill. When that affected you at it's worst was 2016 and I said then it would take you 10 years to get over it. It does seem to have had some lingering effect, they all but admitted that themselves. But I hope you can get out of it. As for me I'm a dogs fan and as much as it has been tempting at times, I all but didn't follow footy in 2014, I won't jump ship.

As a fellow Eagles fan, a moment I always remember is that 2006 prelim against Adelaide. I knew Sydney was already in the Grand Final, and I knew we needed to beat Adelaide for an 05 GF replay. We were 21 points down in a low scoring game at half time, but watching the momentum build to a win was super exciting to year 6 me.

I was insanely unlucky because in 2018 grand final (west coast supporter) it was my birthday and I was watching and I ended up running out the room thinking we lost and I said this is the worst day ever and then my mum (Collingwood supporter) came out crying and said that west coast lost and then I rode my bike to all my friends houses seeing if they saw what I was seeing.

Adelaide fan: Best moments 1997PF, 1997GF, 1998GF, 2012SF, 2017PF. Worst moments: I've lost count. But out of non Adelaide games the 2018GF was one of the greatest games I've seen for sure, Brisbane Lions early 2000's, Geelong late 2000's and Hawthorn smashing Sydney in 2014, Bulldogs in 2016. The two Sydney and West Coast Grand Finals were great too.

Top 5 best and worst moments: Port fan (im sure ive missed something but this is what springs to mind) Best: 1. Wingard BOG/Showdown winner 2013 and Monfries bounce, the resurrection of a broken club was complete 2. Motlop 2018 showdown winner, never celebrated as hard in my life at a sporting event 3. 2020 QF vs Geelong, recency bias, had been 6 years since last finals win so the emotions were high and we owed them BIG time 4. Gray 2020 vs Carlton winner, again recency bias but brought genuine belief we were a contender 5. 2014 31 point semi final comeback vs Fremantle in Perth, stunning game and the pinnacle of a never give up attitude that transformed our club for the better Worst: 1. John McCarthy death, no words 2. Westhoff misses after siren 2011 first win for Gold Coast, disbelief and one of the only times i've questioned my love of the club 3. 2007 GF, tarnished so much amazing work we had done since joining the afl 4. 2017 elimination Final goal after siren, the anger and heartbreak this gave me with the frustration of 2015/16 built up in one moment 5. Lose vs GWS 2012, Primus quits midway through game and gets sacked, disgraceful day for the club and a former captain ruins his legacy

I'm a dogs fan 5 worst times: 5) 2014 as a whole 4) 2015 finals 3) As an extension of 2014, Cooney, Higgins & Griffen leaving 2) 2017 season 1) Jake Stringer leaving in said season 5 best times: 5) Getting Treloar (also very unexpected, I thought of all clubs we wouldn't get him) 4) Getting Ugle Hagan at pick 1 3) Getting Boyd (probably the only good moment of 2014) 2) Getting Bevo as coach 1) 2016 season & GF obviously (even though sadly I wasn't there) I'm 25 seconds in and I can already guess by that thumbnail the 2006 premiership is in this, I also kind of figured you would be old enough to have watched. And then obviously 2018. Also you guys really did have prime Juddy looking back. I still say you guys won that trade, based purely on longevity Kennedy has been way better as good as Juddy was. Edit: seeing that vision of you there in 2018 makes me wish all the more I was able to go in 16. A grand final atmosphere is just something else.

I'll sum up every Geelong supporter and say our worst is any moment involving losing to hawthorn (especially 2008) and our best is any of the after the siren win vs hawthorn (or other teams). We have had 7 goals and two behinds to win after the siren out of 51 in history for all teams. We are very overrepresented in these. E.g. Collingwood did it once in 2003 and Essendon once in 1913. It's hard to explain to a supporter of another team but late in a close game a cats fan always has a sixth sense and remains calm; we're like "it's cool, some crazy shit will happen and we'll kick a goal after the siren." On the flip side only Ash McGrath in 2013 went against us (since like the 60s) and so many have missed, Brad Johnson '09 and famously smiling Isaac Smith in 2016. I sat there just constantly telling my friend "relax he'll miss because it always goes our way." We are unusually blessed in this way and always enjoy the after the siren compilations. We really don't feel the triggering and pain in those that others do.

My best and worst moments as a giants fan Worst 1. Getting belted in round 1 2017 by Adelaide when we came into the season premiership favourites 2. The loss to Richmond in the 2017 preliminary final 3. Losing to west coast in 2018 when I felt after we lost that game our season was done 4. Losing both our half backs going into 2018 with Williams rupturing his Achilles and losing Wilson to trade 5. Obviously the 2019 GF Best 1. Beating both Collingwood and Richmond in back to back weeks from unwinable positions in 2017 2. Beating Richmond in 2018 when our back was against the wall with injuries and the 8 getting further away 3. Beating Geelong in round 4 this year in my opinion our best win 4. The moment when our fans realised that our team was going nowhere. 4. 2011 Elimination Final v Sydney The point where I realised our empire was over, on top of Ross Lyon moving to Freo the next year. 3. Nick Riewoldt’s retirement The moment when your childhood idol has officially left the sport. 2. 2010 Grand Final Replay v Collingwood Second consecutive Grand Final loss and poor treatment from Collingwood supporters. Couldn’t get tickets to the draw and ended up regretting going the week after. 1. 2009 Grand Final v Geelong Watching one of the greatest teams of the modern era crumble in the last quarter. Paul Chapman’s goal still scars me ‘til this day. *Best moments:* 5. 2015 comeback v Western Bulldogs Top 10 greatest comebacks of all-time and showed the potential of what our team could look like for the future. 4. Grand Final 2010 (Draw) An unpopular opinion but watching us come back from four goals down at half time still gives me chills. Knowing the fans were behind us, the second half showed our dedication to stay in the game and apply the pressure to Collingwood. 3. 2016 Round 14 v Geelong A young Saints team knocking off the top of the ladder Cats by under a goal was a something special. Especially since the same thing happened 7 years before. 2. 2009 Preliminary Final v Western Bulldogs The moment where 7 year-old me witnessed my team making a grand final. Riewoldt’s goal is the best thing I have ever witnessed at a footy game. 1. 2009 Round 14 v Geelong Both teams 14-0, record crowd at Marvel, one point win, knocking off the best team for the last three years. The most hyped up home and away game in years and most certainly lived up to it.

Carlton supporter 6 Worst Moments 6 Last game at Princes Park in 2006, very sad day, couldn’t even get the win 5 Brendan Bolton era, I’ll admit he did try but he probably should have left sometime in 2018 4 Losing rivalries always hurt, notably losing by 81 points against Essendon in 2014 and 75 points against Collingwood in 2015. 3 Mick Malthouse era at Carlton, turned us from Regular finalists to wooden spooners in 1 1/2 years. 2 Denis Pagan era, two spoons, left Princes Park, just terrible 1 Salary Cap Scandal of 2002, lost pick #1 and #2, had to pay huge amounts of fines, had to be given a loan by the AFL just to basically stay alive, killed us off, started the long misery of being a Carlton supporter 6 Best Moments 6. Rd 22, 2013 to Elimination Final, Bombers beat us, kicking us out of finals, then got disqualified from finals, giving us one more chance, then came from 40 points down to beat Port Adelaide by 1 point to make the top 8. The week after we beat Richmond in the first final after being 31 points down to win by 20 points. 5. Eddie Betts winning goal of the year. First of his 4th, was special to watch and I am glad he is back 4. Brendon Fevola winning the Coleman Medal in 2006 and 2009 with 84 and 86 goals respectively, also scored 99 in 2008 3. Winning our first final in 11 years or so in 2011, smashed the Bombers too. 2. Brett Ratten era, it gave us hope again with regular Finals appearances 1. Chris Judd winning the Brownlow in 2010. Special night for all Carlton fans knowing we had the best player in the league
