I always found it weird that Tony Adams said that Arsenal couldn't win the league with Wright because everything had to go through the striker. I thought that that was wholly unfair as he scored so many goals. He was injured most of his final season at the club and that allowed Anelka to come in as the main striker but it wasn't Wright's fault that Arsenal were not good enough to win the title until that season.

You know what, as someone who comes from a very homogeneous country I didn't even know what racism was until I was about 15. For a long time I didn't have much understanding about this topic. Now that I'm watching this I think I gained a little understanding about it. This is very good. Thank you guys.

I've only just found your TrueGeordie podcasts and just listened to 10 straight. This interview with Ian Wright was a real gem and the David Roecastle piece had me having to wipe the tears away. What an absolute diamond Wrighty is? He's open, insightful, compassionate and it just goes to show that although his education was limited, he's more than made up for it with his qualifications in the school of life. It's also nice to see two blokes interviewing, who actually listened to their guest, who from time to time punctuated the conversation with questions that had Ian opening up to very personal parts of his life. Anyone that doesn't like Ian Wright after watching this really needs to look at themselves, even unforgiving, hardened Palace supporters. Brian when I first saw you, honestly, I thought, what the fuck. You look like the head of some underground criminal gang, but mate you're brilliant. Empathetic to point of really tuning into your guests, regardless of their backgrounds and Lawrence is a great foil with his clean cut image and slightly different slant on things. I've got a few suggestions for interviewees that are maybe outside the box. Dr Stephen Greer, Linda Moulton Howe, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Jason Fung & Wim Hof.
