Talked abt Golbat, and my inner childhood memories of PokePark came back Did you know, that Golbat on it walks normally, and they put their wings infront of their mouths, like a vampire, which is my preferred answer to how they "close" it Also Cofagrigus walks coffin side up, with their arms, like a quadruped, and I think that's neat. Although according to the anime, they only do that if there's someone inside, because they get too heavy

Grabat feels like it would be perfect fit for a Gen 4 evolution. It's diving more into its concept rather than its animal, which is more 4 gen onwards, but is still simplistic enough pose and design to fit in with designs before they went 3D

Eh, most of the Gen 4 evolutions just made them fat, or added some flamboyant accessories for little reason. I think Ron's design fits more with the modern style of evolutions we've seen in Gen 8 and 9, where the theme is expanded, but the original isn't sacrificed or deformed.

I love the Zubat evolution line so much (especially Golbat - I have a tattoo of the original sprite with its big tongue because its seriously some of my favorite pokemon art of all time) and I do agree theres a lot of weird quirks about them, like how Crobat loses Golbat's more defined legs and loses its sudden giant mouth and reverts to a body shape closer to Zubat's and looks significantly smaller somehow but you somehow designed a pokemon that i love even more than Golbat or Crobat!!! I love it I really wish it was real now!

Out of these 4 my favorite is definitely Meowsma with first its name being a pun on miasma & to add it can also be based on a Cat Sith from Celtic mythology, but I would love to see other split evolution like Corphish with this one would be what it original evolves into

Y'know, I wasn't feeling Grabat, until you added the colors! 🤩 It looks like the kind of proper evolution Game Freak might have given it in this more modern era of new evolutions. It keeps the basics of the design while expanding upon them and adding just enough to give it new life and a reason to exist. 10/10. The others are also very good. Here's a split idea: Since several Dex entries talk about how it likes to bathe in lava; if you take a Rhydon to an active volcano/lava pool and use a Fire Stone (or some other item) you get a Rock/Dragon type. Its horn has become a diamond tipped drill as has the end of its tail, with the tail being a more ballistic button drill. It would have angular, orange diamonds coming out from between the frills on its head to make dragon horns, and larger ones from its shoulders to look like pseudo wings, and one or two coming out of/covering its knees and elbows. The frills and segments of its body would be smoother, more pointed, and almost look like armor. Its tail would have smaller spines alternating around it like Pinsir's mandibles, but in more of a shark fin shape. It would have the ability Plasma Proof: Grants full immunity to Fire and Electric moves. It still has its 4× Ice weakness as well as gaining a weakness to the Fairy type, so it's not unbeatable. I just can't think of a suitable name. 🤔 Dex entries: The impurities have burned away from its body allowing its true power to emerge. Its intellect has also been refined. It employs traps and mazes to keep invaders from its lair. This Pokemon is always on the hunt for gemstones. It will eat those with flaws or impurities, but any perfectly formed stones are hoarded in its lair as prizes. Because of this greedy humans, and hungry Pokemon like Sableye, often try to steal from its collection.

What if you made prevolutions for basic pokemon (basic as in the pokemon card definition of a pokemon with no evolutions). You could make one for a pokemon like zeraora or sawk or something. I got this idea from the skylanders games as they did something similar to this. (Also i really enjoy your videos, they really make my day)

Then you use their ideas, and recreate them into real fakemon. Kind of what Moxie did awhile ago with Mikey's fakemon, and Purplecliffe's (hilarious) AI pokemon.

I've been making my own region recently and out of the 26 Pokemon (9 lines) I've made so far, 2 of the lines have split evolutions and one has a final stage that is technically all the same pokemon, but has numerous different types, being either Flying/Normal, Flying/Dark, Flying/Electric, Flying/Ice, or Flying/Psychic.

I want something that evolves into something more Egyptian themed while not making it similar to *Palworld's design,* knowing that a Riolu & Lucario are based off of coyotes but gained a steel type form instead of something similar to sandstone styles like a Ground/Rock type version to match it's inspiration similar to Scyther & how they made Kleavor the rock type version of Scizor.

Even through it would be over powered would have liked to see slaqueen with parental bond. Klutz feels like she would drop her baby - which is on brand for sloths but not on brand for slaqueen - though I guess perhaps it’s got klutz since items don’t work since it’s to busy holding it’s baby?

I have not drawn it out yet but, I have an idea for an eevee like pokémon based off of mages, where a little bug learns three different types of moves and then also bug type moves and depending on which stat is higher like the hitmons it will evolve into a specific form with a different stat spread, when attack is it's highest stat it will evolve into a bug fire type, special attack will be bug ice and balanced stat spread or speed/defenses will be bug/psychic, it's basically an evolution line that decides which element is best for it through the way you trained it, after each evolutions there will be another evolution for each respective type, with the fire, ice and shiny stone, this is like an example on if they find their true strength/purpose or just a hidden artifact that will improve their strength they will be able to evolve into their final stages where they mastered their element! each of the forms have protean as their hidden ability and other normal abilities depending on the type it evolved into
