Honestly I think the concept of Gyms that follow themes other than Pokemon Types is really interesting. And the way you have a light themed gym is incredible! I hope that maybe someday we can get Pokemon games with a gym challenge like this.

I've thought a lot about this myself, and I think I would have a canine themed gym. The gym itself would be set up like a dog pound, where you have to use switches to get through the gates to get to me. If you get the switch correctly, you'll be confronted by a member of the "staff", and they'll tell you you're entering an employee only area, and proceed to battle you with some sort of canine Pokémon. If you hit the incorrect switch, you open a cage, and a dog Pokémon is released and will attack you, to which you must battle and *defeat it to move on. 3 different gates to get through, all of which can release Granbull, Furfrou, and Stoutland. The first trainer will have Poochyena, the second will have Electrike and Zoroark, and the last trainer will have a Boltund, Midnight Lycanroc, and Lucario. Once all are defeated, you will face me, the top dog (pun definitely intended), the dog catcher. My team will consist of Manectric, Theivul, Arcanine, Midday Lycanroc, Mega Houndoom, and my ace, Mightyena. (Why is the mega not my ace? Because shut up Mightyenas my favorite lol.) Yes, I understand how easily bodied my gym gets by a good ground or fighting type, but hey, it was fun to make.

I wouldn't be a gym leader. I'd be the third elite four member with the types psychic, fairy, and water. In the initial battle with me, it would be doubles with my team consisting of Pelipper, Primarina, Alcremie, and G-max Hatterene. When I participate in a tournament in Galar or Unova, my battle would be singles with Indeedee (F), Alakazam, Primarina, Sylveon, and G-max Hatterene in Galar and in Unova it would be Pelipper, Samurott, Espeon, Alakazam, and Mega Altaria as dynamax isn't available in that region since Chairman Rose doesn't have a branch of his company there (assuming since Galar is so far away from the other regions according to Honey in the Isle of Armor). If I were in a multi battle, I'd be partnered with Caitlin of the Unova elite four and she would have her Gothitelle and a Mega Gardevoir (because why not) and I'd have Espeon and Alakazam. I know this sounds a little weird but come on who wouldn't wanna participate in a Galar tournament and a Unova tournament.

If I was a gym leader it would go something like this. I would be a poison type gun leader with these Pokémon. 1. Drapion 2. Crobat 3. Toxicroak 4. Originally Dragalge was here but I'm replacing him with Gengar 5. Galarian Weezing 6. Gmax Garbodor (Movesets will be in the replies). My theme would probably be about navigating through gas (with a gas mask to represent the gas mask used in the world wars in Britain as I'm studying to be a history teacher when I eventually leave school and the first world war is now a huge event we spend a lot of time studying here in England, which is were the gas mask first saw use). And battling trainers to reveal the way forward eventually making it to my arena where it's revealed the toxic gas was just a couple of Galarian Weezings using poison gas, then we battle. The badge would be called the pollution badge. Also just had an amazing idea for a gym just now I'll explain it in the replies in a bit after I wake up.

Welp I’m Pretty early. Anyone else always dreamt of having a Pokémon partner? I’ve been thinking of it since I played Pokémon diamond when I was one. Yes. Since I was one. I’d probably be a steel type gym leader with a mawile and lucario as my aces. I don’t care about steel much, but mawile and lucario, their my favorite. Though otherwise it would probably be a fire gym and my ace is either Houndoom or Delphox since dark and psychic are my 2nd and 3rd favorite types after fire. If I were a galarian gym leader, I'd use bug types because its tied with psychic for my favorite type and there's no gym leader that uses it yet (Avery actually is a gym leader, he's in the minor league) The gym would be located in ballonlea, because the original gym there had a butterfly on the front, so it fits. Also it's a theatre and I love acting sooo The gym challenge would be like undertale, where you have the pacifist and genocide. At the start a league staff member asks you if you want to battle trainers or solve puzzles. Battling the trainers is the genocide run, and the puzzles is pacifist. Might as well explain the puzzles. There's four puzzles, each of which are inspired by a different area from undertale. The first one will have something to do with switches hidden behind pillars (ruins), the second has a bunch of x-es on the floor, and you have to turn each one into an o to progress, but if you step on an o it will become a triangle (snowdin), the third has you on a raft that floats to four different glyphs that rotate between 20 trivia questions and if you get one wrong the questions reset and you go back to the beginning (waterfall), and the fourth has you do mettaton's tile puzzle, where: - Green tiles make a noise and then you have to fight a monster (in pokemon it can make a cry and then you encounter a pokémon) - Orange tiles make you orange- scented - Blue tiles are water tiles that you can swim through unless you're orange scented, then the piranhas will bite you - Purple tiles slide you over to the next tile, but the slippery gel smells like lemons, which piranhas don't like - Yellow tiles are electric and zap you if you step on them, sending you back to the previous one (if it's next to a blue tile, the water will zap you too) - Red tiles are impassable - Pink tiles don't do anything On the pacifist run, my team consists of: - Vikavolt - Golisopod - Vespiqueen - Crustle - Gmax Orbeetle And on the genocide run its: - Shedinja (I'd explain why but this comment is already as long as an essay so sorry) - Gmax Orbeetle If you think this is too complicated or unfair, that's the point. If you think its dumb that it's inspired by undertale, I know. It is. If you think this comment is way too long, you are correct. Hey Ron, all this talk about light has gotten me thinking of a game I play. It’s a mobile game by the creators of Journey called Sky: Children of the light. It’s centered on light, and your character draws on light’s power to heal itself and fly. It’s a very beautiful game with lovely graphics and fittingly lovely music. I highly recommend it. And my theme would be a glass maze (glass made of ice) There would be a lot of ice trainers who would wait for the player to arrive after solving each ice puzzle And lastly my gym batch would be a light batch 💡. I think it would be awesome to have gyms that were based on something besides typing like you did, I feel that it gives the gym leaders a feeling of also being Pokemon trainers in their spare time instead of just being a gym leader. I found you from that trivia challenge and omg this is so creative! I would most definitely enjoy this forest gym challenge wholeheartedly. My non-canon Gmax would be Flygon, because it's my favorite of all time, and it fits me as someone who enjoys nature, music, and spirits. If I win, Flygon's sand will glitter various colors in the sunset while you hear the music in its wings :)

Heres mine :) Type: Steel 1. Lucario 2. Bisharp 3. Magnezone 4. Forretrest 5. Aegeslash (sry for bad spelling) 6. Mega Scizor Im a gen 6 gym leader in the town of snowpoint I go to the pokemon village to train my beloved steel type pokemon. My pokemon fight the frosty pokemon around the town to train. Gym puzzle: technically the same as the normal snowpoint gym puzzle but with big gears. You earn the hardened badge. "I wish you good luck at the pokemon league.

As a trainee vet nurse id most probably be a gym leader revolved mainly around Pokémon that you may find in a vet clinic or domesticated animals, My team would consist off, 1.Mudsdale, this would be my transport Pokémon used to get to clients in need of veterinary treatment 2. Incenaroar to represent cats 3. Alolan ninetails, I live in a small village in England and we have many foxes in my area, so a fox Pokémon makes sense 4. Ursaring, in England we don’t have bears but I wouldn’t want to just have domesticated animals. The idea is I’d tended to a teddiursa with the intent of releasing it back to the wild but decided to stay with me. 5. My final Pokémon is my trusty Stoutland, representing dogs and would be used to carry my supplies used to treat Pokémon.

I like Ron because hes got a real good grasp of WHAT pokémon is all about. He has a clear idea on what makes them unique, gives solid criticism when needed, and doesnt stick to the safer design choices found with most fakemon. I think this is the most believable fake gym leader i've ever seen. Nice job Ron
