Poison is my favorite type too. So many great 'mon ever since generation 1 came from it. If I was a gym leader, i'd go with my second favorite typing, ground. It is a pretty decent type, and also has very little representation. Their's giovanni, and then clay and that was it. I would be a geologist, and keeping with this theme, the gym would have cracked & uneven flooring everywhere (probably with lots of ledge jumps), and your goal would be to go to a section, flip a switch, and make the floor even again, so you can go challange me. This is based on tectonic plates, and i thought this would fit since I'm a ground gym. I would give the player earthquake, and the badge could probably be based on soil, i'll just call it the DIRT BADGE.

I decided to try to think of what kind of gym leader I'd be, and I ended up with a much more detailed idea than I expected, and I'm quite satisfied. I would be a fire-type gym leader in Unova, specifically during the events of Black and White 2. My gym would be located in Driftveil City, thus replacing Clay. The story would be that Clay was remodeling his gym and accidentally dug into a dormant volcano, causing said volcano to erupt and ruin the gym. Because it was so far underground, the damage to the city would be minimal, but the environment would have changed. The cold storage would be gone and replaced with a hot spring. Clay would have to retire due to injuries he sustained from the eruption, and later on, I would come along and rebuild the gym with a volcanic motif. The layout of the gym would be several platforms in the middle of a pool of lava, with trainers having to cool down sections of lava to make bridges. There would be a big volcano in the middle which would occasionally shake. The theme around my gym is subversion of expectation. My personality, both irl and as a gym leader, is very quiet and reserved, which I think would be an amusing irony for a fire-type specialist, since all the others who had appeared by B2W2's release (Blaine, Flannery, and Chili) are incredibly energetic, so a fire-type gym leader who's calm would be the opposite of what the player would expect, and my gym would reflect that. Trainers would be told that the volcano in the middle of the gym might erupt if they take too long, but it never actually will. As a gym leader, I imagine I'd have an odd (and strictly platonic) friendship with Roxie, since we're both new to the gym leader lineup yet our personalities are basically polar opposites (I'm a quiet person and she literally sings in a band). We'd want to include Cheren in our circle of friends, but he would initially be hesitant and refuse, though he'd eventually come around. My team would consist of Darmanitan (my ace that has it's hidden ability letting it become fire/psychic, the latter being my other favorite type), Heatmor, Volcarona (Alder's no longer champion in B2W2 so it wouldn't overlap with him), and Chandelure. I'd add either Arcanine or Ninetales in challenge mode depending on version as a reference to them being exclusives in other games, and both in the Pokemon World Tournament. Keeping with the volcano motif, the badge I give out would be the Igneous Badge, and in line with the long, thin style of Unova's badges, it would be shaped like a long, thin volcano peak with lava flowing out of the top and down the sides.

Not a bad Electric Gym idea. I might suggest giving Vikavolt Mud Shot instead of Thunderbolt, to cover its two weaknesses of Fire and Rock. Another possible Electric Pokémon could be Heliolisk, so it could abuse Parabolic Charge for healing, and use either Grass Knot or Surf for Ground coverage.

Yep, I already have made my own Water/Fairy-Type Gym in the Unova region consisting of a Sylveon named Livi, a Samurott named Shelly, Poppy the Primarina, Dascbun called Sugar, a Fizin named Bubbles (great dolphin Pokemon) and a Dianice named Jewel, with Shelly the Samurott as my ace Pokemon. I was going to include the Alolan Ninetails, until I have seen the dolphin and how cute and awesome it looks. Victini (nicknamed Ellie) doesn't count because it's a Fire/Pyschic-Type. Finally if I was only allowed one starter, then it will be a Swanna (nicknamed Odelette) instead of the Primarina.

Personally, I would be a dark type leader with a gym similar to that of Fortina in Platinum. I love the flashlight mechanic and that people can choose how many trainers to fight. The puzzle however would be with turning on lights in a certain order, which count as flashlight areas, and if a trainer looks at you while in the area, no matter the distance, it would cause a battle.

He's my tank as well as ground coverage for the 2 members of my team weak to fire. Decidueye: it's my favorite starter pokemon of all time, so it deserves a place here. Frosslass: ice is my favorite type, and frosslass is such a cool pokemon. It would be a special sweeper. I feel like my home region would be Johto, and hometown would be Ecruteak. I’ve loved both that region in general, and that town specifically, for a long time. Really wish HeartGold and SoulSilver could’ve come out when they started using 3D graphics, I’d love to see the portrayal.

I'd probably use a ghost team, set in the Johto region, basically my home region as heartgold was my first ever game Ecruteak, Morty, uh, he moved on, got too old, quit, etc Morgue based gym, like it's literally in a morgue, I'd probably brush off the trainers for the first half of the journey, because of funeral stuff going on, just a ploy to wait for them to get stronger to get through, they'd have to just get through the expansive morgue, basically a dark maze that you can light up with a fire type move if needed, you can also find hints in the lockers, though I'd probably make a comment on that if you do, some would also trigger a trainer battle For Pokémon, I'll start with trainers The trainers would use a team of 3, random baby ghost Pkmn from a list, randomly generated so you can't strategize to beat them for free xp and money Shuppet: WilloWisp, Sucker Punch, Night Shade, Embargo Misdreavus: Confuse Ray, Hex, Payback, Astonish Yamask: Astonish, Disable, Night Shade, Mean Look Sinistea: Mega Drain, Astonish, Nasty Plot, Aromatic Mist Gastly: Lick, Payback, Dark Pulse, Spite Drifloon: Minimize, Astonish, Gust, Payback Litwick: Smog, Ember, Confuse Ray, Hex Phantump: Confuse Ray, Hex, Leech Seed, Growth For the big battle, me, not found in flashy clothing like other gym leaders, just a hoodie with an obscure pop culture symbol, jeans, sneakers, and a typical over the eye winged emo haircut I'd comment on your actions during the challenge I'd introduce myself, welcome you to the gym, etc etc, I'd pause, look in a direction, and speak: If you didn't light a single candle: "Prefer the dark? I get it, I'm the same." Lit a torch: "What a shame, here I thought you'd like the solitude in the dark." Used a locker: "Defiling the dead? Tsk tsk tsk, I'm pretty sure you've angered some ghosts." After that, I'd just challenge you, sweep my hair, and toss out a dusk ball lazily and underhand style, in battle model/sprite is just me looking bored just watching with a slightly condescending look with my hands in my hoodie pocket (where my pokeballs are) My team would consist of pokemon not built as a great fighting team, but a team I bonded with Starting off with my first pokemon: Trevenant, saying a small story with each pokemon: "Found a scared Phantump when I was hanging out in my favorite spot in the forest nearby, raised him ever since, poor thing, parents must've been worried sick." Stats have a higher focus on hp and attack Ability: Frisk Moves: Lots of healing, wants to deal damage, and keep healing a bunch Wood Hammer, used as the main offense move Ingrain: Healing, nuff said Leech Seed, healing nuff said Horn Leech: Take a wild guess Item: Big Root, for, you guessed it, healing Trevenant just wants to stay in the fight, taking out your big hitters first, as you'll probably have to use your strongest to get through it's healing Next up: Alolan Marowak "Found this lil gal on vacation if you believe it, I was going where I wasn't uh, sposed to, a graveyard of skull and bones, with a lone Cubone, long story short, I comforted her, and I guess her mom came to help her from the grave." Ability: Cursed Body Moves: Very offensive, lots of focus in damage stats Swords Dance, gotta get attack up, Flare Blitz: Final gambit move, used when Marowak reaches a certain health threshold about 50% Bonemerang, Mostly just because signature move, yknow Bone Club: Main attacking move Item: Thick Club, memoir of family Mimikyu: "It seemed like it needed a friend badly, and then we were just always together after along with everyone else." Ability: HMMMM Moves: Mostly moves to keep it safe while attacking in tandem Shadow Sneak: Quick damage to hit first Play Rough: To attack and lower damage is perfect Pain Split: To keep myself both healthy and make sure they regret fighting Slash: Easy damage Item: Pokedoll, unusable if taken, just there for it's comfort Now for: Bannette: "Found the poor guy in a stream just lying there, probably tossed out like garbage, took him in, raised him, I'd guess he sees me as his new owner. I'd rather just be friends to be honest." Ability: Cursed Body Moves: A balanced mix of attack, sp atk, and status Shadow Ball: *Duh* Phantom Force: Easy choice to use Will-O-Wisp: To keep the damage going Hex: To make more use out of will o wisp Item: bannetteite You'd think this is my ace, no, this is just to make you let your guard down and use your strongest thinking it's over, nope, up next Beat Bannette and I end up getting a slightly surprised expression and look off when I throw out my last pkmn Decidueye: My ace "Decidueye, my first pokemon ever, dunno how he got to Johto, but I found him stumbling through the woods as a Rowlet with a hurt wing scared, I helped his wing, and took him in, been best friends ever since, now we just gotta face the last stand, and I'm glad it's with him." My true ace, designed to be hard, just like this whole battle, it is the last one, if you can win this, you can for sure take on the elite four Ability: Overgrown, when things get risky, damage is boosted for leaf blade Moves: Spirit Shackle, always a nice move to have good damage and stops escapes Leaf Blade: solid damage with stab, yknow Shadow Sneak: Priority Damage Brave Bird: Lots of damage, nuff said Item: Expert belt, brought ghost to fight ghost? :), as well with the diverse types can hit different things more better Personality: Adamant, because duh If you win, I give you a congratulations, "Huh, you actually beat me, nice, well, if you can take me down, you can take the other five down, good luck, and here's the badge." Give you the Mourning Badge, a V with flat edges on the top, and a slight bud in the middle that looks like hands clasped together Any future battles I'd have a Dragapult for my sixth

I'd probably be a Steel Type gym leader since my dad's a welder and I love him. The most powerful pokemon in my team would probably be Aegislash, I hear he's pretty powerful from a competitive standpoint plus I think it would be befitting to have a sword pokemon in a Steel Type gym.
