This is a fantastic idea that adds great lore to the "Tobyverse." I absolutely love that the ace/gigantamax pokemon of the opposing evil team leaders are immune to one another (ghost vs normal). While Gengar still has STAB moves that can hit Snorlax, it's a primary ghost type so I'm paying more attention to that.

Plot twist: Teams Snooze and Snacks end up creating (totally evil, I swear) stop off stations where trainers tired of travelling or training can stop to get a bite to eat and maybe a nap to get their energy back. But their still totally evil, I swear (not really though).

I was just working on the design of a alternative fairy type gym leader for my own region with a chef theme (current fairy leader has a Grimm fairy tale theme; morgrem/grimmsnarl as their ace, while also having other fairy pokemon with a darker inspiration/backstory like mimikyu, mawile, shiinotic and hatterene). Guess now I can have this be incorporated into the character design if you would allow! Team consists of at least alcremie and slurpuff, for obvious reasons, with some other possibilities as expansions on it. Togepi and shiinotc are food, ribombee has a cute outfit and can provide honey, mawile is a very big eater and florges, being a nature spirit, could help herbs grow faster and make them much better.

Team Snooze has some really competition XD if I had an evil team, it would be Team V, and our goal would be to help people and Pokémon reach their ultimate form. Our Pokémon would usually have branched evolutions, like Eevee, Gloom, and Applein, but also lots of Dynamax/Gigantamax/Mega Evolution.

My team would be Tyranitar, Dragonite, Gyaredos, Charizard, Houndoom, Gengar. Our goal is to take over the world and reduce the amount of modern technology excesses. As well as controlled population to limit damages to nature. Additionally gather up the people we dislike and trap them in a section of the world that is surrounded by Sandstorms and Fire so can't escape and let them live and die without damaging the rest of the world and society.

Hey Toby, I think I have a little added lore you can have for the creation of Team Snack. What if in the Team Snooze hierarchy, they had members whose job was to make and hand out the meals while everyone else just lazed about, and being overworked and underappreciated for their roles as well as being fed up with their compatriot's laziness was the reason why they defected. The Team Boss was the head chef, the Admins were his sous-chefs, and the grunts were the waiters. You could even have a special grunt class modeled after a maitre d', a tuffer then average grunts class. Maybe even a sub-admin class based on dishwashers and line cooks

Fun fact... long ago I had a dream of an own pokemon adventure and my evil team was named Team Speed. And they had a forefront. They were in charge of all the vehicles in the region. Transportation was their game under the Turbo Express. Was the CEO Evil? No. They were for once not the evil leader... Team Speed was set up by a few board members to catch fast pokemon and a way to disrupt the flow of transport to make way for new invations despite the costs and anything. It had an underlying message of "how progress" polutes more if done wrong. To only have the 3 board members be played by someone who lost all power of Turbo Express... THE FOUNDER. The founder didn't like that all power was taken away from him and that the current CEO is too fond of not pushing the limit of the company despite the costs or pokemon. He made this place big.. he wanted to be world wide and control all of the transportation, but this foolish CEO is willing to help rival companies get bigger and share things... make transport good for anyone. WHAT A FOOL! And their motto? "We hit them hard before they notice!" "Team Speed, faster then a rocket taking off, across time and space!" So yea :P were they after a legendary mon? Not really.. they just wanted the fastest pokemons in the world. Anything slow was considered not worth their time. Their whole gimmick is speed after all!

First off, just wanted to say I haven't even gotten into the bulk of the story at still at 4:53 , but it would be kind of cool if Opal and Piers we're kind of like the detectives of the region. It could be similar to the international police agency that Looker is from but for Galar. Also since SWSH take place in the future, maybe Opal is a descendant of Looker, and she always wanted to be a cop/detective yet being a gym leader stood in her way. Now that she's retired it would be cool and a fun nod to James Bond by having Opal as a Dame Judy Dench type playing the head of the organization. Just a thought.

Evil team idea: team Judgement, led by a trainer known as Zaki. Zaki also happens to be your rivals father. He started the team after an attack by team rocket in which your rival, Kaiya, was was forced to watch the evil team rocket hurt and kill her Pokémon. This tragedy awakened something in Zaki. He began to become obsessed with the myths of the various Legendary pokemon, With which he plans to Purify the Pokemon world. During your journey, after years and years of hard work, Zaki comes to a Breakthrough discovery. He discovers a triad of Legendary Pokemon long buried underneath the earth. These Pokemon are extremely destructive forms of the three legendaries of the Hoenn region: Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza. Groudon takes on a rugged, rocky new form, gaining the rock type. It is capable of creating fierce sandstorms with winds the force of hurricanes that whip around not only sand but large rocks too. Kyogre , on the other hand, became partially frozen after being buried under a frozen ocean, giving it the ice type. It is able to create hailstorms forceful enough to pierce thick steel shells. Finally, there’s Rayquaza, the most terrifying of all. The land it was buried under became a bustling city, where pollution seeped into the earth and tainted it. It is a Dark-dragon type that can create storms of shadowy aura and transform pokemon into shadow pokemon.

I had a few Evil Team ideas in Pokémon, some better than others. Here’s 1 idea, Team Cyber. The main idea is that we capture Pokémon and give them cyber, robotic, android like features. That makes their typings change, different moves, different appearances, and stronger than they could have ever been before without the new features.

I've had this evil team idea based off hollow knight basically two teams, one using bug and fairy types, and another using ghost and dark types. both teams are rival, but you might be wondering, what are their goals? Well one is to awaken the pokemon derived from great light, while another from the great abyss. both pokemons are legendary pokemons worshipped by the two teams, and guess what? the pokemons consist of a Bug Fairy type and a Dark Ground type, or i might change it to ghost but who knows. i haven't expanded too much of the idea but will solidify it in the future

I'd have Team Past, a team focussed on returning the world to the past. Back before the Leagues, before pokedexes. They all dress in Victorian style dress. They use fossil pokemon and ancient Pokemon like Claydol, Sigilyph, and Bronzong. They use apriballs for everything and are working to find time distorting pokemon to return the entire world to "the good old days".
