I am in Winnipeg and can give a simple calculation if it helps. If someone earns 60k CAD, approximately 18k CAD is deducted for income tax. monthly expenditure is minimum 1k if someone does not spend at all outside eating and drinking and stay in sharing or in basement private room. So deduct 12k CAD yearly for fooding and boarding. Straight 30k CAD savings if there is no other expense. Simple Tips: Try to earn more. Saving money by cutting netflix connection or quiting chicken dishes will not help much 😃
