Don't know if you have played Darksiders 3 at this point, but for those who didnt, spoilers incoming (i think): I'm kinda confused with the Council's intent to eliminate the horseman (like they blatantly tried with Fury). Why do they want to kill them off in the first place? Doesn't that seem detrimental to kill off their most powerful enforcers who maintain the Balance? Has Corruption consumed them as well for them to act like they do? That part i can't understand.

God cast her from Edan for her sinful and power-hungry ways. The Devil presumably lucifer for he is the serpent in the garden! Gave her a choice take power and rule as his queen of devils or stay as an abandoned creation all she had to do was take one of the apples from the tree of knowledge for her self and trick and scheme lucifer into paradise thus adam and eve were tricked into eating from the apples thus humanity had knowledge and god had to give them free will. that's where the fall of Edan begins. Lilith's story only just began in the throne room of the dark king Lilith the last test was to take the bite from the forbidden fruit with that bite sealed her soul was burned into nothing Lilith the human was burned away in her place was the hell queen Lilith the queen of sins the first succubus; the first witch and the first of the eternally damned and first human to be forged into a demon by her evil deeds.

Hey could you perhaps do a video on Death's scythe? I have been trying to figuee out what his actual sychte is named and what it looks like. It seems like the harvester is his weapon but in Death's Door the harvester was given to him by pilgrim so it cant be that. It doesn't seem to be the chaos fangs. So is it the soul reaper?

I can't quote where I learned this, but I think Death created the weapons for the Horseman using the same techniques that created the Great Abominations. From what I recall, Death was the only Nephilim really capable of creating things like that. While some of the power behind the Horsemen weaponry comes from the charred council, their weaponry outside of that sanction is Death's making. Again, I can't provide the supporting reference, I just vaguely recall reading it somewhere.

I think that maybe the Makers made some of the Horsemen's weapons then Death infused them with his powers. I remember when I replayed Darksiders Warmaster edition that Uthane looked at Choaseater with admiration as though he had something to do with his creation.

(6:23) NO! The griever wasn't a chosen, you had to kill her so that Ulthane would help you out so you could go kill the Stygian. the chosen were: Tiamat the Bat Queen, The Stygian, Silitha the Brood Mother, and Straga.

The Griever is indeed a chosen. She is one of the 4 chosen who holds within their hearts the power of Samael. When you kill those first four Tiamat, The Griever, The Stygian and finally Silitha each of them have a heart which you give to Samael to give him power. The fact that it makes Ulthane happy is just a bonus. He only says "If you kill the Griever, Even make it out alive that will be proof enough that you are who you are" He doesn't care one way or the other you only go to find "the black hammer" because that's how you will get to the Griever. Straga is the strongest chosen but is the only one not to hold Samael's power.

He was also a Chosen, the Chosen are the Destroyer's generals, the other four were tasked with holding Samael's power, keeping him imprisoned, so each held part of his power in their hearts. Straga was instead tasked with watching over the Black Tower, the Well of Souls and Azrael. The Chosen were the Destroyer's leaders, it just happens that most of them had the same job.

While the hand cannons that Strife wields (And as a result we see Death and War wield either copies of or one of his real guns) We do see fire arms throughout the games, The cannons of the angels, their laser shooting spears, the demons have a proxy mine spike cannon, etc. So it is our belief that Guns were invented by either Angels, Demons but eventually soul-er energy and explosives became the more common used ammo for Angels and Demons respectively leaving (magically regenerating) bullets to the way side. We even have proof that the Nephilim made some as some of the Abomination weapons are guns. Was definitely not Humans first. As the Abomination weapons were made before the human race.

That's a relatively common thread through most scripture "based" stories, That angels and daemons were made, then humans then god left and everybody is sad and doesn't know what to do so they fight. The Creator in a lot of games, TV shows etc. supposedly just leaves and no one knows why. That holds true here as well. :P Tarren: It's also worth noting that Abandon was just saying that because he was mad and had done everything wrong.

It'd be straight conjecture for us at the moment, but we imagine that that information will be revealed in her upcoming game. Thoughts right now are really just that she's loyal to the council and War is known to be the most brash (with Strife Maaaaybe matching him(?)) of the horsemen, so she just believes the Council's word? But we're not sure.

Corruption is a force we do not know a ton about but it seems to be eating away at creation. Death thought it was born of Absolom the day he killed him and the rest of the Nephilim but Absolom claimed that it merely made him its champion and that the Corruption had already existed in the Universe. It could be that the Charred Council itself is infiltrated or corrupted but we wont know for sure until they reveal more of the conspiracy that is taking place in future games.

There are two scenes, one in the novel and one in Darksiders 3, where we see all four the horsemen together, so Death and Strife can't be the same person unless he has the hidden ability to multiply himself or some such. Unless you're talking about them having similar power sets? But we don't know enough about Strife to address that.

Death sacrifices himself and the soul of the nephilem to revive humanity. But death is revived when the 7th seal is broken at the end of DS1 The Angel's are denied reinforcements because the gate to heaven is closed in fear of corruption.

Idea: Having into account that our timeline happened in this universe, do you think that evolution and other galaxies and other human discoveries are still true? Like do you think when the Creator makes a race, he just influences the evolution process into a said way? Meaning that not alln species are direct creations of the Creator? As far as we know humanity simply grew as we have up to this point. Meaning every thing that we believe as a species is what they knew when the Demons and Angels fell and caused the apocalypse. So I guess they would have been "idiots" but as we know from the games themselves humanity was underdeveloped compared to Angels and Demons so it's not that surprising that our view of the world/ universe was incorrect due our low level of development. Just like a young child can only see so far depending on age, humanity is under devolved. And on that note even the Nephelim didn't know about how the tree of life works so there are things that some people know that others don't.

I wish they’ve given us more about the Creator He’s such an interesting and mysterious Being within the Darksiders universe, I mean ever since He has seemingly grown silent and didn’t really interfere in Creation anymore, you can’t help but wonder: what happened to Him? Did He abandon Creation forever? Is He coming back at any point in the futur? It seems like such questions will never be answered since even His closest and most pious among His creatures have apparently started to forget about Him and to just live with the fact that He is absent for now as well as with the horrifying fact that the war has been going on since time immemorial and there doesn’t seem to be any chance of it ending. Fun fact: there’s like a an altar or like a small house of worship dedicated to the Creator in Eden (in Darksiders genesis) and it’s all lit with golden lantern like thingies and it’s also clean and pristine compared to the rest of the environment which is rotting and being corrupted so I guess that might symbolize that some of His creatures have not yet completely lost faith in Him and are still expecting Him to come back at some point or that His presence still occasionally fills His sanctuaries and houses of worship just like the time when it completely filled the countless realms He created eons ago...😭

Sorry, could you clarify? If you're asking about the other two horses owned by Fury and Strife, we couldn't say. There is literally nothing on them beyond the biblical colors of the mounts. Which we assumed will be (roughly) adhered to. Ex. the developers have said that Fury is the "Rider of the Black Horse". But haven't said or shown anything else about her mount.
