Hey Marc, as the proud dad of a 20 yr old son who discovered dealing a year ago at a small card house in Lubbock, who has now dealt at a WSOP event in Choctaw and just started at TCH Dallas a week ago, I just wanted to let you know that this vid has assured me that he is working with a great team! Both of these life milestones were bucket list items for him, so both myself and his mom are so happy for him. He and I talk poker almost daily, especially now that I've become a regular watcher of the live streams. He's the first of our 3 boys to move away from home for work, and as hard as it's been not having him drop by for coffee anymore, it makes me feel so much better that he's found a new family with TCH Dallas. I only found your vid because he told me about "The Machine" and now I'm a truepokerdealer subscriber! If you ever do another live stream, his story might be an interesting one for your subscribers and anyone looking to get into the industry. .. take care. P.S. Did Stacy happen to be the cowboy from Odessa?

Love this comment! As a fellow parent, I love that I was able to provide comfort and excitement for you in this way. What is your son't name? I'll make sure to say hi the next time I am at TCH Dallas! I'm sorry, but the Stacy reference isn't something I understand :( Maybe that's a TCH Livestream reference that I am not aware of?

Watching this again. I would love to hear your thoughts on the differences between poker rooms and casinos with poker. I'm hearing a few corporate casinos killing the poker business bc it's not considered very profitable for the casino. With casinos and card rooms opening everywhere, it seems short-sided. Most of upper management has no real understanding of working in or managing poker. I have thoughts on the course you're talking about today. Always good to hear from you!

What does TCH pay its dealers per hour before tips and tournament downs? When you work over 40 hrs in a week at TCH do you get paid time and a half on your base pay? Is it difficult to get full time status at TCH? Also, do they offer health insurance if you average over 33 hours a week for 3 months like other large business are supposed to? Thanks Marc.

@@RuyLopezCUH Okay cool, thanks for the reply. If you want to work more than 40 hours does TCH care at all or will they let you work as many hours as you want?

Feel free to reach out to Texas Card House Dallas with any company specific questions you have. As someone that works there, I am not allowed to be specific about things like base pay etc

I want to deal poker. But the truth of the matter. It sounds very difficult to learn. Sounds very very stressful learning how to deal

You probably thought the same thing when you were a kid learning to ride a bike
