Hi... Can you make a video about the solutions for the plot holes? i am interested the ideas what changes would have been better to fix the problematic parts... - You mentioned that Sector as a genius would have put a failsafe measures in the armors, if the operators rebel (Cyrax)...: They should have made the game fight different for Cyrax the moment she rebeled: make her sluggish (heavy armor) and turn off move sets that not bomb related... (in the begining, like raiden we couldn't use lightning related skills) - When Sector was captured: either we would fight with an unarmored Sector (unarmored fighting style) or give us an explanation, like the suit got anti-theft measures built in against unauthorised access (shocking function) - When Geras was kidnapped, they should have shown us more things that make it possible, like items and other kind of magics... it looked too easy to abduct the gardian of the hourglass... it is hard to believe that Geras didn't turned to sand during the struggle... or show us a Geras vs Geras fight where we see how he was incapacitated (atleast in anime they explain the methodes to make it easier to believe) ect...

Liu Kang deleted Hanzo Hasashi from his universe, preventing some unnecessary deaths in the long run. He made the Lin Kuei be by his side as the protectors of Earthrealm. Pretty much castrated the forces of Outworld. But we draw the line at properly dealing with THE two sorcerers that caused the most trouble throughout Mortal Kombat history. One of whom literally came close to universal domination in a battle for the Hourglass. Yeah, sure, let's just leave them to a horrible fate that they were forced to be born into. Seems quite thought out. At this point I'm starting to think that Liu Kang just *wanted* a rematch of some sort.

Can't believe we still didn't get a proper MK9 Remaster. I recently made a tribute video of X360 as the last great generation (hope I'm wrong) and when capturing the footage, I re-visited MK9. I'm in awe how amazing it is. The story mode - which serves as a reboot - is great, better than the 2020 movie we got. Gameplay, maps, characters, costumes, art style are such a tribute to the arcade MK's from the 90's we grew up with.

I think the visuals and characters really carry this experience. The characters, while not fully developed properly imo, are still interesting characters cause the colorful MK cast is always fun to watch and play. The story and development just doesnt happen at a satisfying pace. Moving way too fast and not allowing its characters to breathe and have their moment to shine. I completely agree with your critique on Havik, hopefully they they improve the main timeline Havik and make him more chaotic in the future, i think there is definitely room to grow his character. Finally, the timeline stuff really needs to wrap up fast. Liu Kang or SOMEONE needs to create one timeline and give a middle finger to all the other ones. it's killing the stakes. While i enjoyed it, immensely, it couldve definitely been improved. I kinda hope that we get no more story DLCS and move on to the next game(After a kombat pack 3 and maybe 4). I think its time to progress forward in the story instead of trying to hastily wrap all the different plots this game set up.

Ok,hear me out, Why does this story mirror Marvel so much? You got Shang Tsung with the Wolverine claws. You got Ashra with the shooting wings following Angel. The Umgadi are like the Dora Milaje. You got the female Sector and Cyrax just like the Midnight Angels, not to mention the multiverse story, and now Bi Han is like the winter soldier. I’m sure there is more,but I just noticed a lot.

I haven’t bought MK1 yet but the one complaint I’ve heard over and over since its release is that the writing is a bit to be desired. Not that the writing is unbearable or out right terrible but just that it’s sometimes painfully inconsistent. Hopefully they’ll improve upon these things in later dlc’s but I’m kinda doubtful of that, at the moment.

Things I liked: The design of Titan Havik was sick. Emperor Tanya and Emperor Rain looked wonderful. Many cool skins. Things I disliked: The story was a jumbling mess, Bi Han's attidute and ego pissed me off and MK1's Multiverse probably took inspiration from FF7 Rebirth's Multiverse nonsense.

What's crazy is one thing they could've added to at least get some positive reception. After bi-han has his mind restored of "chaos" have the unpredictable side effect of his ego being deflated and being appalled by his previous actions, apologising to everyone, making kuai Liang be skeptical and still not forgiving him, but learning to help his brother through his struggle. This would give more weight towards the havik fight aswell, make bi-han frightened of what he was and what he became, making him fear what he could become again, and have a hatred towards havik as he is so sick of the idea his previous self is just like his corrupted self, gives the fight more weight and feels satisfying that we play as noob to defeat him. Plus instead of interactions where bi-han shoves Kuai Liang away, he asks for his help and although Kuai Liang is hesitant at first, they grow closer remembering the times they had growing up training and how formidable they were, would work better is smoke was playable in the DLC instead of Rain or Tanya. This is just how I think it would be better and people can disagree but to me this sounds far better than the final third we got

It was really mid writing that was done simply to introduce the new characters, I feel like aftermath took way more money and effort so for MK1 they scaled back to maintain a decent profit. I hope that whatever comes next for MK is they ditch the multi-timeline stuff, make liu kang a more background support character and flesh out the world that we currently have without the cheap multiverse re-skin crap. MK is at a severe low-point and needs an overhaul.

After seeing the story, i needed some times to think, and yeah, it ain't great. It was fine, it started good but halfway, things fell apart. The only thing saving was Havik but then again, it has problems. also, didn't they say there would be a suprise appearance at the end? Cause i don't see where that happens. Btw, check out the acarde ladder endings for the dlc characters, especially Sektor and Noob Saibot

I think Bi-Han had a semi redemption arc. I only say it because it does still feel they half-assed Noob one last time. Yes it would've been better if we got a bit more story exposition on Bi-Han. I figured we would get an extra clip of him sitting in a room with his thoughts surrounding him by Geras' sand. Also, I would've loved a longer scene with Bi-Han and Sektor together before the "Final Battle", like an actual kiss. And now I get this weird feeling Takeda and Cyrax are gonna get together for story part 3.

My headcanon theory as to why Havik stopped regenerating is that there's a limit to how many times he can do it in a given time frame, like water going down the drain faster than you can fill up your sink. Havik cannot be killed but he can be stopped (technically he can given the implication that the void Noob Saibot can travel through would destroy Havik).

Fun fact: the Polish version of the subtitles for Cyrax/Scorpion conversation imply that she is grandmaster calling her "Wielka Mistrzyni (female version)" instead of calling Scorpion "Wielki Mistrz (male version)". So not only you were confused but whole team responsible for translation :D

I like that during story mode all of the characters are like "Noob your ego is getting the better of you" and he then proceeds to solo every major player, including Titan Havik. That's not ego that's being confident in your abilities. Like Titan Havik not beating the everloving shit out of him feels like a fake ending that you get for beating a fight you aren't 'supposed' to win (ex. Genichero in Sekiro).

Granted we did see what happened to Titan Shang Tsung's timeline after he got killed, so this was less the writers pulling a move from a recent marvel movie, and more so just Liu Kang being more cautious after witnessing what happens when a Keeper of Time is killed while still being connected to their timeline in some way. And its ironic considering that premise came first before the movie was released.

A plot hole I saw was that Titan Havik said he had no idea about other universes/timelines until Titan Shang Sung came to him. And at the climax between Noob and THavik he said it always comes down to Titans. Unless I’m missing something, that bothers me a bit

Anyone else annoyed that it took the whole DLC for Scorpion to forgive Cyrax? She was lied to and deceived. It made him come off as stubborn when in reality they just wanted to prolong it until the end for effect. In the first game he said to Smoke that she and Sektor would side with Bi-han even though he was locked up. He could have easily went to them and told them first. It doesn't make sense.

When Havik realized that he would be defeated, he should have asked for help from stronger powers through the portal. For example, if Onaga or something had come, we would have fought with him. Or if we had fought with that dragon. It could have had a better ending.

The main MK1 storyline was good, better than MK11. However, the MK11 Aftermath Dlc story was better than this shyt they pulled from their rear end. Either way Mortal Kombat needs John Tobias back. Boon needs to take a backseat.
