OMG! What did we find in the German WW2 Foxholes that we found in the Finnish Lapland on an old battleground!? Amazing day metal detecting ww2 relics in the forest!
We went out for a camping adventure in the Finnish Lapland for one night and did some metal detecting for ww2 items and relics left behind from the Lapland War (Lapin Sota). During World War II, the Lapland War saw fighting between Finland and Nazi Germany - effectively from September to November 1944 - in Finland's northernmost region, Lapland. This was our first time metal detecting WWII relics and we had researched some new places and were not disappointed! Not a bad ww2 metal detecting day with our Minelab Equinox 800's!

@@TrueVikings a lot because of the tough rules here, so the hobby is not so popular here. Which is great for me lol. You just cannot keep the older finds. The government owns everything you dig. A long story to explain all the rules

Looks like some type of 30.cal.Could have been rifles or a machine gun.Impossible to say.In either case it would not have been a good place to be.

That grenade bit was a copper drive band off an artillery shell. Not sure I like the idea of you two having all that ammo. The next thing you may find is a rifle. Those bullets will still be okay. Grenades are good too. they are good bait for fishing once you pull the pin and toss it in.

Arkansas, i asked the Vikings the same thing a few years back and passed on the info to some friends. They are amazing and now have some stretch in them but be forewarned that they don't last as long as we expected for the price point.
