Superb video, the cola syrup looks great . My first and last experience with a Long Island Ice Tea, ended up with a bouncer getting me in an MMA face lock and propelling me out onto the streets, but after watching this video there is always a second time for that, but at home instead of a nightclub.

I always thought the cola was mostly to tint the drink so it looks like actual iced tea (aside from adding a bit of the flavor). 🤔 I like this as a thing unto itself though. Looks good!

1-I LOVE the use of measurements by MASS, and to 0.1 grams. 2-Thanks for showing that you use a small scale. Whether using metric or imperial, a precise scale is INVALUABLE. More videos need to be this detailed while also being brief. 2-

I didn't think it was possible to make a Long Island Iced Tea look this good. I've been tempted to get one of those foam devices for a bit now and it just got moved up the list.

Great, thanks! Would it be possible to use the same procedure when reducing the sugar?

For the syrup you mean? You could of course but then I can’t vouch for the balance of the cocktails you will make with it

It's not "sou vie bag", it's "sous-vide bag", there's a "d" in there

The reason I don't like the LIIT, as a bartender and a consumer, is simply that it's a cocktail that's not designed to be good. It's designed to be a competition cocktail that's turning heads, and to use all your clear stuff, because why not? When someone comes into my bar and orders one of those, it tells me that they've either no idea what a good cocktail is or they just want to get drunk real fast. I really don't get why people are still putting up with this.

Counter point. I love a well made long island ice tea. It's lemony and refreshing.
