Hi Bobby, hopefully you will check the comments. You have a wealth of knowledge! I'm thinking what about planting some pigeon pea, cassava or mexican sunflower between the rows to 1) provide fast-growing shade and 2) for a "chop-and-drop" mulch/fertilizer for your trees? Also mimosa for ground cover and nitrogen fixing and/or lemon grass or vetiver grass.

Yes would be nice to see the progress three years on. Bobby I’m really interested if any of the Imbe you showed reached flowering stage to confirm if it’s reliable to sex them by the leaf shape. I have a two year old and really hoping to find out if it’s male or female.
