Do not buy the TruMedic Magic Hands truShiatsu Pro - Neck and back Massager with Bluetooth from Costco because the app control is terrible, the power is weak and the massager is really hard to position for a good massage.

Honestly I disagree completely. I put it between my back/neck and the couch or back of a chair, and it stays totally in place and gives a weirdly good massage. I haven't even gotten to the Bluetooth control part yet because I haven't had a reason to change the settings

I appreciate your input, thank you. I could see how someone could think this model provides an adequate massage if they hadn't used any others. Having used (and destroyed) many of these shiatsu massagers over the years I can say with total confidence that other models provide a far superior massage experience. I'm in the process of testing other models in order to demonstrate in reviews which is best. Thank you for your comment and I'm glad this unit works well for you.

The older non-Bluetooth Magic Hands version works very well since many years. Motors are strong even while running in battery. I bought it from Costco a few years ago. I forgot the price but it was on sale. They disappeared from Costco ever since. Now i want one for my mother they are $200. Thanks for this review. I will stay away from the Pro (Bluetooth) version.

I just picked up an awesome one at Costco for $100 from Homedics, did a review on it! Really like it. Non-bluetooth has a strong battery. Hopefully you can find one for your mother! Thank you for your comment and info all the best

My wife got me one of these, and I could not massage my neck as my neck did not fit in this thing to get a massage (at all, in any position). I have asked her to return and find the other model (3000) online since this version is totally useless for neck massages. And all your other complaints I agree with. Tried to use it for 10 minutes before tossing it back into the box.

It's really too bad the newer models have gotten worse because the old ones are so good. Exactly like you said, this one does not work for my neck either whereas the 3000 felt like an actual massage!

I also have both IS PRO 3000 and magic hands. I love the IS PRO 3000 except for the torn mesh from use. The magic hands suck.

Same thing happens to my mesh eventually as well. You'd think it would be easily replaceable given this is a common issue...but nope.

I have to agree. I own the lesser expensive model I got from Amazon and it works way better. My Costco unit I thought would be better and it struggles. With all that said, I still use them & enjoy their benefits. For a person looking to buy their first unit, don't buy this model.
