To hold it comfortably do what I do. Cross your arms in front of you through the loops and just let them hang you can adjust the pressure a little bit but you don’t feel like you’re working the whole time you’re getting a massage. I can actually almost fall asleep in this position. Try it out. Good luck! And also, for me, the sound is a little bit like white noise after a while and it really doesn’t bother me. I really feel like *this was a good investment for my comfort and for loosening up*. After work I come home, sit in front of my TV for a few minutes (since my hands aren’t really free while massaging so it’s not like I can text or type) and just relax a few minutes and it totally takes away the day. Sit at your desk or either on your couch and kick your feet up on an ottoman and just lay back and chill. You just Gotta get used to it. At first like you I complained that it was a little bit uncomfortable but now that it’s been weeks into it I am so loose (no pun intended) and my neck is so comfortable it’s wonderful. Personality I think this is perfect for people who love deep messages the other ones that just have rotating nubs on it seems to be the ones more for comfort
