Thank you for addressing the shameful issue of "liberal" jews

This is a hate channel. That is all it is. There are liberal Jews in Israel too. IN fact half of ISrael doesn't like Netanyahu. What happens if Netanyahu is no longer PM. It may give Trump an excuse to turn on Israel even though he doesn't care for Israel because the autocratic countries and leaders he admires from Xi, Putin, and Kim believe Israel has no right to exist in any borders and opnely support Hamas. Turkey too and Trump abandoned the Kurds.

Thank you for the always-thoughtful and brilliant discussions about the social struggles of American Jews. The Jewish Council for Public Affairs is primarily 1. A Democratic Party institution, 2. Feminist-led, 3. Atheist/agnostic, 4. Persist in atoning to non-Jewish leftists and minorities for having been born Jewish. I view the organization as an NGO of the Democratic Party, and my guess is that it's strongly supported by the radical Democratic Party as long as they have a willingness to exhibit self-rejection (which so far they have). I don't think this group will ever face the truth. Their lives and finances have been committed and promised in their fight for acceptance by those who deeply dislike them.

As a non-Jewish American (N-JAm), I love this brilliant, clear analysis. I sincerely hope Jews across the world can unite behind a message that Israel must be “too big to fail” and that this message is accepted across the world by allies and enemies alike so the Abrahamic Accords can proceed and peace achieved. It will take more time for the genocidal philosophy of “political Palestine” to die out-but the ultimate goal should be Arab Palestinians living inside and outside of Israel in peace….But it seems to me this vision needs Jewish unity in order to work. Love JNS’ work-keep it up!!

Too big to fail? YOu mean Israel shouuld just be another place for religious extremism like some CHristians and Muslims and they all agree to blame "liberals" for their problems. Jews are outnumbered and the answer isn't to make alliances with other haters. That will never work any more then when Golda Meir made alliances with African countries sharing a certain form of socialism and also a legitimate issue that they were both persecuted. Israel being outnumbered has to stand for something beyond just trying to integrate themselves with other hate movements because that gives them more numbers and thinking they will never turn on them.
@oldman2200
@oldman2200 15 сағат бұрын
You misunderstood. First comes complete acceptance of the permanent existence of the State of Israel (and by extension the Jewish people) ie “too big to fail”. Realpolitik statecraft will then take care of the rest.

@@oldman2200When you say "too big," I interpret that in terms of both perceived and actual power. Either the United Nations is purged of its Jew Haters or it dissolves due to irrelevance. Even now it lacks the power of Israel to steer the way the war will go. The absence of good faith membership is steering the existence of the UN over the edge of the world and into the ether of non-existence.

07:34: Israeli law doesn't automatically apply over the Green line; the Officer in command of Judea and Samaria has to approve the law's implementation for it to apply. (It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it.) So, of course we want Israeli law to apply immediately for us (in Judea and Samaria), when the Knesset approves of it. That is not the case now.

It's so strange that some American Jews choose to take a stance against their own homeland. But cone what may, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob guarantees the security of the land of Israel.

1. By choosing to appoint former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as ambassador to Israel, is President-elect Trump declaring to the enemies of Israel, as Doc Holliday did to Johnny Ringo twice in the 1993 film Tombstone as a measure of his support for Wyatt Earp, "I'm your huckleberry"? 2. Although the national interests of Israel and the U.S.A. may become parallel in purpose in the new administration, that singularity must not overlook the needs of others in the Middle East who do not possess such blessings. 3. Can the words of Hillel the Elder be a guiding principle? "If I am not for myself, who is for me? And if I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?" (Avot 1:14)

You're wrong Jews voted more for Trump than ever in my lifetime and it was the religious Jews that voted for him but there was I believe more than a marginal game. It just goes to show you that you need to be religious or close to Israel like having visited it a lot but I do know a Jewish woman that has family in Israel and they voted for Kamala harris. I stopped believing with in God and I stopped even thinking about being Jewish but I was raise pretty religious so after October 7th I started praying again and I read a morning blessing in Hebrew and I started to connect with other Jews I live very very far away from synagogue I live in Iowa there's not many Jews here I think there's less than 1,000 and I broke my lower back so it's hard to do much of anything. But I am saving money so that my husband and I can go to Israel when I turn 70 and if the anti-Semitism gets worse and worse we will make an emergency Exodus to Israel so October 7th renewed my faith in God and I am proud to be Jewish I actually re-established my middle name Jordana as my first name
