I agree. I was just telling someone how the show itself has always been light-hearted and has always been positive. As a long time Jimmy Fallon fan I am sooo DISAPPOINTED. I, along with most people, was against Trump years ago. Throughout the years I’ve come to the realization that Trump did so many great things for us and this country, and I changed my tune about him. I’ve been a Trump supporter for the past few years now and it always sickened me how certain prime time tv shows and hosts speaks so disgustingly about him. One thing I always respected about Fallon is that he never did any of those things. Sure, he’ll crack jokes about Trump but he did about Biden as well. That’s comedy. Although I know Fallon is a democrat, he never struck me as an extremist and I respected him for remaining respectful… HOWEVER, I tuned in last night and he did not mention the attempted assisination or even address the HISTORICAL moment or even send any condolences to the ones that were injured or killed. He could have used this HUGE platform to talk about what HES supposed to talk about and send a positive message, but he literally ignored it and I’m in disbelief because I thought Fallon was one of the good ones. I lost so much respect for him last night. I really though Fallon was a good dude, but damn man, you freaking dropped the ball on this man. Even made a joke about JD Vance’s appearance- which wasn’t a funny joke, it was just lame and came off as hateful. wtf Jimmy??? wtf???
