I sometimes read Fox News articles so I can get a feel for the news from all corners, and in one article the writer kept referring to the mainstream media as a separate entity from Fox News. Fox News IS MAINSTREAM. In some parts of the country it is the most watched news outlet. Buying commercial time in one of their slots costs more than CNN I read recently... they are undeniably a widely viewed source of news. This whole "them versus us, the little guy!" mentality they are selling their audience is absurd. They are the best source for crazy, though. "Man marries alligator... naked man arrested for walking dog... woman mistakes raccoon for postal worker... thank you, Fox News!"
