As a native of Erie, I want to point out that Erie can draw Trump supporters from both New York and Ohio to fill up the venue. Don't think for a minute that the crowd represents Erie sentiment. For example, JD Vance only drew 200 people when he spoke there, whereas Tim Walz had a crowd of 2,000 for a weekday afternoon rally. Erie will vote blue. They took the poem "The Snake" that Trump used to recite to heart.
