Listen to any developer in NY talk about this case and you hear how the property values are subjective for loan applications and require the bank to accept their appraisal. The tax appraisal value has nothing to do with what a potential value is. They are two very different things. Every single developer is guilty of this bizarre interpretation is now law. Just try and justify the fine and penalty and the restrictions? You can't because there was nothing to gage a penalty on a non existent crime. I'm surprised the the State legislature didn't chip in with a temp law just to target Trump for a specific window and then close it, like they did for E. Carol, the vampress who accused 5 other wealthy men of raping her. Even for a casual observer having 4 different cases for various different charges is just so obvious as to their motivation. Yes his lawyers should have immediately moved for not only unethical targeting of a candidate, but her collusion with the stop Trump campaign. That was a no brainer, but would also be denied because the judge is on the team stop Trump. The implications of this example of prosecutorial misconduct should make everyone wake up and say this is not our system of justice.

Likewise, if Trump gets absurdly good rates, other people will get terrible rates to compensate. The bar for libel or slander against a public figure is very high. You have to prove actual malice and not just error. Biden is definitely a public figure. It would be hard to argue Latita James wasn't especially after she did start to run for governor. I don’t know about Ergoron. I really get the impression Bruce Rivers knows nothing about real estate development. Not the attorney I would hire to defend me in a case like this. This is how we real estate developers do work with the banks. That's why there are disclaimers and the banks do their own due diligence. The judge completely ignored the testimony of the banks themselves. Clearly Bruce Rivers does not understand property tax either. You do not pay property tax on the value you estimate your property tax on. I have property in several states. None are valued on the tax roles for as much as they are truly worth. This is why we fight the county assessments every year. Also, Bruce Rivers using the "Seal Team 6" question doesn't understand the response of Trump's attorney. I don't think the attorney's response was a great response. The answer should have been a direct "No, he could not do that." Dershowitz actually analyzes this very well. Don't forget that Trump just grew his net worth by close to $4B with the DWAC IPO. It is safe to say that Trump will get convicted on every case in a low level liberal (left leaning) court. Trump knows this and will have to appeal everything. I don't pretend to understand sneakers, but I believe there were only 1000 of the shoes made and only 10 or so were signed by him. That is what drives the price up drastically. Pretty simple economics case there.

Ok donald trump wanted to borrow against another building of his, in order to get the funds to build another building in Newyork. Wealthy people do it alot in this country and worldwide.
