Last summer one of my neighbors had their yard completely decked out in Trump/Desantis signs and 'decor'. Even had a lifesize cardboard cutout of the two together on their porch. It's an understandable enough mistake, but one of the many examples of the correct spelling of the wrong word that spell-check won't ever catch. It's kind of like "there," "their," and "they're." All correct spellings of three different words, each with its own, different from the others, meaning.

I'm a born and bred Iowan and that annual game is pretty sacred to a lot of people. In general, I think most people were just unhappy that candidates were obviously using it to further their political careers and they felt that wasn't the right location or event to do that. But I am glad that there were so many boos as Iowans wouldn't usually do that, especially in such a populated event, unless they felt very strongly against someone or something.
